La Pagerie - Tropical Garden Hotel

Our experience since arrival was extremely disappointing- not due to one isolated issue, but due to consistent disorganization and a lack of basic service standards. We were told our room would be ready at 3 PM, but it was not, and there was no apology or communication. The check-in process itself was inconsistent, with different information from different staff members. More concerning was the handling of our luggage. Our bags were taken without any receipt or tracking. After waiting over an hour, we were brought the wrong luggage, which raises serious security concerns. Despite multiple follow-ups, both by phone and in person, we were ignored. We were assured the luggage would be delivered while we were out, yet we returned hours later to find it still unattended. I understand that it may be a busy period, but the issue here is the complete lack of accountability, communication, and hospitality from your team. The tone throughout has been dismissive and indifferent.

The room was clean, but the staff gave me wrong directions to the marina where the ferry leaves for Fort-de-France.

The room is fine, although the temperature cannot be adjusted and is warm for a Canadian’s comfort. The room charge was collected at check in rather than check out, and an addition 200 euro deposit was collected at the same time.

Enjoyed my stay at this lovely Garden Hotel. It was conveniently located near restaurants and parking was available on the nearby streets. The buffet breakfast was delicious! Housekeeping could be improved. Would definitely recommend this hotel for a comfortable stay in Trois-Ilets!
