Homewood Suites by Hilton Augusta, ME

There was no hot water for showers! I was not told this on check in and found it as a terrible surprise the following morning. At check out I alerted the front desk and the response was, "yeah we know, we have had some people working on it but its not fixed." I asked how long its been this way and she said "I'm not sure but for a while." Absolutely not acceptable for staff not to alert customers of this issue upon arrival. A cold shower is not how most people on trips want to start the day.

Very friendly staff. The property was very clean in spite of undergoing a refresh. The kiddos loved the pool. Breakfast was amazing.

I was n the hotel from Sunday to Thursday and no housekeeping service. I had to get toilet paper and towels from the front lobby. Desk clerk promised housekeeping but none appeared. Rugs are dirty likely due to lack of housekeeping. Never stay here again. But might be the best in Augusta Maine sad to say.

Was very pleasantly surprised by this hotel on our drive home from Canada. New hotel, nicely decorated, very quiet, good bed, small but nice kitchen, living area and bathroom with pleasantly scented Crabtree & Evelyn body wash in the shower, ok breakfast. So we slept really well, had a great shower and acceptable breakfast and were back on the highway in under 5 minutes. Will stay again next road trip.

Very disappointed with water pressure and the fact that the shower head barely spit out water. There was no body wash in shower. The container was complete missing from the holder tied to wall. Also upon check in waited behind another couple as we stood there and there was no one around working the they appeared from back office. One would figure you would want your desk clerk out greeting guests and be available. Had stated here a few years ago and was severely disappointed this time. Not worth the money if you can’t even enjoy a good hot shower

Dirty dishes in our sink and washer. No toilet paper. After 3hrs driving and needing a bathroom we had to wait for Toilet Paper after checking in. Food was mediocre. The worst part was the kids making noise directly across from us and in other room around us. Spoke to the front desk and they did nothing. I assume so because nothing changed. They made noise until 3am

Room was clean , staff were great... pool was not very warm but it looked clean.

Stayed here christmas dayas I had broken my foot and wanted to find a place to at was open, homey and no stairs due to being in wheelchair. This hotel had gorgeous spacious clean rooms. Bed was very comfy. Room was stocked with cutlery items and extra pillows and linens. staff was helpful and very accommodating They even allowed me to check in early and had a pack and play crib already in the room for me on arrival. The staff mentioned they are redoing the rooms and the floor ai was on isnthe last to be updated. I was shocked because its already so beautiful that updating seems radiculous. Trust me its worrh the stay!! I will definitely stay again Hopefully next time i can use the pool and gym. location is right off highway and across street feom margaritas and to err is a texas roadhouse nearby too. Of all the hotels in the area this is by far the best option
