Hyatt Regency Jersey City on the Hudson

It’s absolutely the most impressive stay during our trip to NYC, excellent location, convenient transportation, gorgeous views, nice food and perfect services, much better experience than another hotel in Manhattan. We would definitely come back again.

The hotel location was fantastic.  It was located next to the river so it was nice to walk along the boardwalk in the evenings.  However, for the price (double the usual price due to World Cup, we usually stay at Hyatt when in Jersey City) there was no extras such as shuttle service to airport, no free breakfast, no slippers in room, etc.  The hotel was clean and convenient.

I come to jersey city to visit clients. I’ve stayed at Hyatt place and now Hyatt regency. Strong preference for Hyatt regency. Room was spacious and comfortable and clearly recently renovated. Excellent breakfast. Regarding the renovation - it looks like instead of replacing bath tubs, they refurbished them hastily and it was a bit of an eye sore. Otherwise I was happy with the room. There are some annoying things like my room was very far from the elevator. It’s a mission to get outside. Always traffic in front of the hotel. If you need uber, best to walk a block away. I didn’t have my own car but it looks like getting your car and dropping it off would be a lengthy process. Property is on the water, with great views of nyc skyline, and surrounded by coffee shops and eateries. But not much else nearby - I needed to buy a charger and that required a 15 min walk in each direction. I wish they had coffee available earlier than 7am. Overall I was very pleased and would stay here again on my next trip to Jersey city.
