The Bethel Resort & Suites

We picked The Bethel Inn Resort mainly for the location since we were skiing at Sunday River Ski Resort, and that part worked out great. The price felt reasonable, and having a continental breakfast included was a nice perk. The heated outdoor pool, sauna, and gym building were all really nice after a long day on the mountain. The room itself was pretty basic and definitely a bit dated. No USB outlets, which feels like an easy upgrade these days. Parking is out front, and if you’re staying farther back (like we were), it’s kind of a haul carrying ski gear. We ate at the restaurant one night—honestly, it felt a little chaotic and understaffed. The food was just okay, but portions were solid. Overall, we’d probably stay again because of the location and amenities, but next time we’d try to get a room closer to the main building and avoid the Fairway side.

Looking forward to staying again! Such a charming, old feel. Clean as they could be with the renovations. The outdoor heated pool was a fantastic treat after a day of skiing, wouldve loved a hot tub as well but made the best out of it! Great place!

Clean room, friendly staff, beautiful location and a great selection for the continental breakfast. My family has been staying at the Bethel Inn for years. It’s one of our favorite spots in the winter when we come up to ski.

Disappointed overall. The room we had was very outdated & looked to be in the midst of an incomplete repainting. There were several holes in the walls covered with spackle, but not sanded or repainted. The furniture was old and worn and the room just had an old, gross feeling to it. We also couldn't change the channels because the 2nd remote for the cable box was missing. We had to call maintenance and they brought another one. The pool however was great and we did have clean rowels & sheets. I was expecting way more for the $250 per night price.

Our stay was just OK. Noting terrible about this place but also nothing special.
