The room hygiene was seriously concerning. We arrived too late on the first night to notice the stains on the bed, so we ended up sleeping on it. It grossed me out for the entire trip. We complained, but the issue was never resolved, even up to check-out. The hotel's idea of a solution was just changing our bedsheet, which honestly, left me speechless at their level of service. If you don't want to serve Chinese guests, just say so instead of giving such a perfunctory response. You must have really struggled with that one, huh?

This hotel was fantastic and provides all you need as a tourist here in Chiang Mai. The room was spacious and the pillows/beds were all super comfortable. The breakfast was also great, very sumptuous. A negative side about the hotel is the pool, which were all very shallow and small and suitable only for kids. There were virtually no adult using the pool. A downside about its location is that it is about 25 minutes of walking distance from the Nimman mall, which is the closest central area. The hotel offers some shuttle busses to the mall, but the shuttles were a bit infrequent, starts at noon, and there is no pick up from the mall back to the hotel. This means you need to use Grab or Bolt traveling back and forth. Now, this would be fine if there were good dining options nearby. But unfortunately I did not find anything good next to the hotel. The hotel has a restaurant, which seems to be on the more expensive side. This makes me want to book something closer to the Nimman mall next time, despite the comfort provided by this hotel. I would recommend the hotel to implement some more shuttle busses or songthaew to various locations near Nimman or even old city. This would improve accessibility by a lot.

The Wintree City Resort is a very comfortable place to stay. The breakfast buffet has everything you could imagine and the food is excellent quality. The rooms are much nicer than an average hotel. The bathrooms and showers were built with lots of glass, have a modern feel, and the water is nice and hot. The staff is very accommodating and always will share a smile and a short chat which is very welcoming. They even have security guards in the parking lot to assist with traffic. Take a short GRAB ride to Maya plaza for movie night, or to Nimman square for walking around. I would stay here again.

Hygiene: Clean and tidy. Environment: Convenient for shopping, right on Nimman Road. No airplane noise at night, so I could finally get some sleep. Facilities: Quite new, and breakfast was abundant.
