CoolRooms Palacio Villapanés 5 GL

Their atrium is beautiful, like the hotel version of a local mosque. I heard it used to be a palace too? The spa was very enjoyable. The only minor drawbacks were: small things breaking down, the fluorescent light in my room's desk lamp wasn't replaced, two of the Type C outlets were broken, and one side of the sink stopper leaked. These didn't really affect anything, but they were small issues. However, the staff's attitude and all-around service were excellent, and it was great that you could take as much food and drink as you wanted! The fruit was very fresh and sweet, the almond cookies had a lovely toasted aroma, and water was also readily available.

A truly awful experience. 1) The room was generally unclean, and the bathroom and toilet had a very strong, foul sewage smell. 2) The location is just okay; it takes about 15 minutes to walk to the main attractions, and there are better options available at this price point. 3) No kettle provided, and the room was small. 4) The elevator broke down during the rain, so we had to carry our luggage down the stairs ourselves.
