Sofitel Barcelona Skipper

The booking stated the room would have a balcony. There was no balcony, even though this room type was more expensive. Also, a bathtub was shown in the photos, and I specifically choose rooms with bathtubs! But there wasn't one in the room, only a shower. The toiletries were modest, and the hygiene kit wasn't complete. I didn't bother to sort it out because I was too tired. I also accidentally booked the room for an extra day. They didn't refund anything, but as a bonus, they allowed me to stay until 1 PM on the checkout day. The location is convenient for walks along the promenade and visiting the coastal cafes. For shopping, you'd need to stay in the city center.

Excellent location right by the sea. The facilities and service are top-notch, truly living up to the Sofitel standard.

The music at the hotel pool was extremely loud and tacky, and the paintings in the hotel and room were hideous. Definitely not worth the price.

Polite and attentive staff, excellent breakfast with fresh, seasonal ingredients, a clean room, a spacious and comfortable bathroom, a good gym, a rooftop pool, and a nice sea view from the terrace.
