Sofitel Barcelona Skipper

Absolutely loved our stay here – 10/10 for cleanliness! The reception team gave us a warm welcome and were incredibly friendly throughout. The room was spacious enough to easily open two large suitcases, which was a big plus. The two swimming pools were a great bonus and well-maintained. The only minor drawback was the breakfast – the selection was a bit limited. Overall, highly recommended!

You are on the coast, close to clubs and restaurants and public beaches which may be a good thing for some and a handicap for others. A lot of dining options to every taste and purse. A lot of roaming crowds and somewhat dodgy looking geysers comes part and parcel too. On weekend early mornings the promenade is full of junk and waisted clubbers but this is all cleared up by about 10 am. So, if you choose this place to stay on the beach you ought to be mindful that the public beaches in Barcelona are less than inviting but this is mitigated to a certain extent by 2 mid sized swimming pools in the hotel, the rooftop one offering pleasant views.

We had a late check in at 6pm and no explanation for why it took so long. We arrived and waited since 2pm for our room, seemed like it was high occupancy. Other than that, the stay was good.

This hotel is excellent, breakfast healthy and good, location convenient to all places. We'll stay this hotel again if we come back to Bacelona again.
