I rarely leave bad reviews unless a place is truly terrible. The moment I walked in, there was an overwhelmingly pungent smell of cheap air freshener. I knew it was an older hotel, so I was prepared for that, but finding mold in all the bathroom crevices was just unbearable. The shower window was very close and it was freezing. The fabric headboard was covered in grease stains, and the moment I opened the toothbrush and comb packaging, there was a sharp, plasticky smell. I mean, for a room that costs 'two five hundreds' a night, it shouldn't be this bad, right?? Let's talk about housekeeping next. Pillows weren't put back in place, trash wasn't emptied, and slippers were just tossed around. In the morning, they'd knock insistently until you had to shout that you didn't need cleaning, and then they'd still ask you again, 'No cleaning?' Finally, about the front desk staff: on the evening of the 2nd, my child went to ask a female staff member for an extra room key because I didn't have mine. The staff member was on the phone the entire time and didn't even glance at my child. I understand she was on the phone with a guest, but she could have at least signaled for my child to wait, instead of completely ignoring them. Guests don't need to be treated like gods, just with mutual respect. All in all, it was a very disappointing hotel experience, and I hope this helps other friends who need it. The last photo is of how I usually leave the room before I go out. I won't upload the moldy pictures, as I'm afraid they'd be unpleasant for everyone to see.
