Hotel Indigo XIAMEN HARBOUR by IHG

An absolutely amazing stay! The room was spotless and the service was excellent. A special thanks to Larissa Li for upgrading us to a family room. Five stars!

The room was quite clean and very nice. I booked a sea-view room and was given one on a higher floor, directly facing Heping Wharf, which offered a pleasant view. Getting around was very convenient, with Zhongshan Road and Bashi Market not far away. Going to the beach and Huandao Road was also easy, as they are all nearby.

The hotel, as always, boasts a great design. The room was clean and comfortable, offering a panoramic view of Gulangyu Island – truly a top-notch view from an excellent location. The butler service was impeccable; Janice, who assisted me, was incredibly thoughtful, meticulous, and polite, always going the extra mile. It was a very pleasant stay, and I wholeheartedly recommend it!

The hotel has a great location, and seems to have been recently renovated, with thoughtful design elements visible everywhere. It's easy to get a Didi (ride-hailing service) here. The subway is a bit of a walk, though. From the room, you can directly see the Bagua Building on Gulangyu Island across the water. Even before check-in, a staff member named Yvette called to confirm my reservation details and asked about my needs in advance, which made me feel very reassured before arriving. At check-in, Yvette recommended several types of food guides, allowing me to choose based on my preferences. I tried many of her recommendations, and they were quite good.

The room offered a view of Gulangyu Island, and it was convenient to walk to Zhongshan Road and Shapowei. The sea view room had a great view, though the decor was a bit dated. The hallway carpet had a slight odor. Service was excellent, but breakfast was just average.

The room has a balcony with a view of Gulangyu Island. The restaurant may not have a huge variety, but everything they offer is incredibly tempting and delicious. It's very convenient for getting around, close to attractions and local snacks. Yvette is wonderful, friendly, warm, and very thoughtful. A great experience overall!

Extremely satisfied with this hotel! This time we chose a family sea-view room, which was incredibly spacious and offered panoramic glass views of Gulangyu Island, a 5A-rated scenic spot in Xiamen, right across the water. A short walk to the right from the hotel takes you to Zhongshan Road Pedestrian Street. The front desk staff and concierge service were both incredibly friendly. They even handled our package deliveries and luggage storage. This will definitely be my first choice next time I visit!

It's definitely an old hotel, but the location is great, and the butler service was excellent. They recommended a lot of delicious food, and Gulangyu Island is right across the street.

Overall, it was quite good. Although the facilities are a bit old, there was no noticeable odor in the room. As I was traveling while pregnant, the butler service was very thoughtful; they checked in on me after check-in to make sure my sleep wasn't disturbed. The room overlooks Gulangyu Island, offering a fantastic view and the chance to watch the sunset. The location is excellent.
