Hotel Indigo XIAMEN HARBOUR by IHG

Spending a day off in Xiamen, I chose the Indigo by the sea. Its location is quite good; it's close to everything, saving a lot of time. The room definitely shows its age, and the air conditioning makes noise while sleeping. There's not much to do about it, and I figured changing rooms would be too much hassle. The sea view from the room, however, is absolutely stunning, both in the morning and evening! Special thanks to Esther, the lovely lady who checked us in. We appreciate her care; she gave us drink vouchers so we could relax while waiting for our room.

The hotel's location is excellent, making it convenient for getting around, dining, and shopping. Transportation is incredibly easy. The rooms are bright, spacious, and the bedding is soft and comfortable. Roy Chen's service was gentle, polite, and thoughtfully arranged everything before and during my stay. His service felt truly warm, not like a robotic, impersonal process. My entire stay was delightful and comfortable, offering far better value for money than other hotels in the same price range. I genuinely highly recommend it!

Having visited Xiamen countless times, I've always opted for newer, upscale hotels. This trip, however, Indigo Xiamen Haigang had a promotion, and I didn't hesitate to book, especially for a room facing Gulangyu Island with convenient access. Upon check-in, Ms. Deng at the front desk, after hearing our needs and checking our reservation, immediately upgraded our floor and provided services within her authority. The Zheng Chenggong statue on the desk in our room, the beautiful fresh fruit daily, and the drinks in the mini-fridge, not to mention the staff in the restaurant who reserved a prime table for us – it all deeply touched us. During our stay, Ms. Deng also provided us with recommendations for local delicacies and other services, making us feel completely at home! Indigo's convenient location and excellent service make it the perfect choice for seasoned travelers like us!

Eight years ago, I stayed at Hotel Indigo in Xiamen, and back then, it felt new with great service. This time, I definitely noticed the hotel is showing its age. The soundproofing isn't great; I could clearly hear laughter and conversations from the next room at night. The service is still very good, and breakfast was nice. The best part is the location – you get a direct view of Gulangyu Island right from your window!

I chose this hotel because of its location for a meeting. Although it's not a large hotel, I had a very pleasant stay. The breakfast area is also small, but it wasn't crowded, which made for a relaxed and comfortable experience. I especially want to commend Esther at the front desk. After I checked in, she sent me some useful travel information about Xiamen. Even though I didn't have time to explore, it was a very thoughtful and warm gesture!

The hotel room was clean and comfortable, making for a great overall experience. Esther's warm service made this stay even more enjoyable, and we'll definitely be back!

Satisfied! This chain five-star hotel is a safe bet, no disappointments. The scenery is pleasant, and the service attitude is excellent – they answer all your questions with great enthusiasm. My parents were very happy, and we'll definitely stay here again next time. The location is fantastic, making it very convenient to get to Zhongshan Road and the pier for boat trips.

The hotel is a bit old, and the lobby isn't grand enough. Plus, there's no pool or bathtub, so my swimsuit went unused. They did give us a complimentary breakfast, which was a nice touch. I booked a sea view room directly facing Gulangyu Island, and it was indeed very relaxing. The hotel's food was good; I didn't want to go out at night, so I ordered Chinese food at the restaurant, and the steamed grouper was excellent. The hotel's location is also superb, just a few minutes' walk to Zhongshan Road. You can even go back for a nap after getting tired from shopping.
