Manor House Country Hotel

Where do I start? Had my daughter's wedding here on the 15/05/26 and had a fantastic time. Rooms were on point and the place is just beautiful. Had food in the cellar bar and it was fantastic and fairly priced. The breakfast was really good (ask for a Cappuccino to go when you finish!). Can't comment on the spa, as didn't use it. What I must point out is the absolutely wonderful staff, who dealt with every request in a professional and friendly and efficient manner. They took the time to chat and seemed genuinely interested if everything was ok. I will defiantly be returning and recommend here for a wedding day, as it truly is special. Absolutely first rate experience. Room was spacious, clean, well-serviced, quiet. Breakfast and service both excellent. We stayed during an unusually long spell of high temperatures so air conditioning would have been a bonus, but understandably not necessary for 98% of the year! Staff were exceptionally friendly at every location throughout the hotel.

We have just returned from our first stay at The Manor House Country Hotel. The location is simply beautiful; our room was spacious with a wonderful view of the Lough; the food was excellent, and every member of staff we met was welcoming, helpful, and really made us feel that we mattered. We experienced everything- even the weather- that we could have wished for on this short visit. Thank you to everyone at The Manor House.

Disappointing visit, food average, room very warm even though was cool weather, fridge broke in room , explained this to manager and gave us a bucket of ice ,had creams that need to be kept in fridge then refused to look at us at breakfast Weren't offered another room ,disappointing visit ,disappointing manager.

Fantastic Hotel brilliant views, food ,and great staff.really great place to relax. You can hire boats and cruise around the lakes.

Wonderful time, excellent place to stay to create another memorable occasion on are perfect day . Brilliant location lovely decor excellent service and great swimming pool . So relaxing and enjoyable. We’ll be back hopefully to stay longer .

2nd trip and never again. Travellers wedding on first night and both restaurant and bar were disgraceful and disgusting. Noise,nuisance and underage drinking. 50 min wait for dinner because the wedding party has no reservations and get treated better. Friday at breakfast no better. Same party watching videos on phone at full volume. And then leaving pint glasses all over reception. Our room was like a sauna for 2 days as well. Hotel should advertise these weddings or keep them separate. Disgraceful. Only positive thing was jack, barman. He was a gent. Be warned future visitors. I'll not be back.

The Manor House Country Hotel was the perfect venue for our wedding day- we couldn't recommend it enough! Una and her team were brilliant every step of the way, nothing was too much bother so it really took so much off the stress out of wedding planning. Guests kept commenting on how fantastic the food was, how friendly the staff were and of course, how beautiful the venue was. We booked the lady of the lake for the day before the wedding which we highly recommend to get the festivities going. Massive thank you to everyone at the Manor House Hotel for making it so brilliant!
