The Bloc Hotel Phuket

The Bloc Hotel Patong is located in the Patong area of Phuket, Thailand, and is known for its proximity to Patong Beach and numerous restaurants, cafes, and shops. We booked two rooms and paid a 2000 deposit for both. We stayed for 6 nights. On the first day, both rooms had bathrobes. After the cleaning staff tidied up, the bathrobes were gone. By checkout, there was only one bathrobe left between the two rooms. We noticed the bathrobes were missing sometime in between, but thought it was fine since we don't really use them much, so we didn't bother asking the front desk for them. It was clearly the cleaning lady who took them while tidying up, yet they insisted we took their bathrobes and wanted to deduct from our deposit. If they want to keep the deposit, there are less obvious ways to do it, right? Taking things during cleaning just to deduct the deposit? Next time, try taking something else. Claiming we took the bathrobes is a bit much.

Top location, small gym on the 5th floor, and a competent staff. The only downside was the side room facing the surf attraction with music playing until late... but anyone staying in this area should be aware of its central and lively atmosphere, full of young people.

I stayed at this hotel seven years ago, and I chose to come back again this time. I love its location, and the breakfast is quite rich, which I enjoy. The view from the hotel's rooftop is ❤️ – it's a great spot for photos!

A really great hotel! 🏨 The location is excellent – just across the road, about a hundred meters, and you're at the beach. Getting around 🚴 is super convenient. The hotel staff are very friendly, and there's a Chinese restaurant nearby too.
