Doulos Phos the Ship Hotel is a place of total serenity and peace. Upon arrival ,we were greeted by the warm hospitality of the hotel team. Andri, the hotel manager gave us a good overview of the activities that we can enjoy at the hotel. He personally conducted the tour and the ship hotel and briefed us on its interesting history. The room was clean and comfortable. The breakfast was simple but delicious. The sunset and sunrise were beautiful. In the evening, we had a 10-course Rijstafel, an Indo- Dutch semi fine dining comprising a welcome drink, appetizer,, main course and dessert plus a very special brew of coffee. Overall, it has been a wonderful weekend getaway for me and my wife. Will come back again to explore the surroundings more.

This truly is a 5 star hotel. Spotless clean , impeccable, perfect condition. What makes it better than any other hotel is a fascinating history of the place. It’s a real ship with memories and charm. Do go for a free tour offered by the hotel. Big swimming pool , from where you can watch both sunset and sunrise. Good food at the restaurant , free breakfast also included . Amazing place for a serene holiday.

We recently celebrated a special getaway at Doulos Phos The Ship Hotel and it truly felt like we had rented the whole place for ourselves. The atmosphere was so peaceful, exclusive, and romantic — perfect for spending quality time with my wife. The hotel itself is incredibly unique, with so much history and character. Staying inside a beautifully restored ship made the entire experience unforgettable. Every corner had a charming nautical touch, and the ambiance throughout the property was elegant yet cozy. One of our favorite spots was the infinity pool overlooking the sea. The view during sunset was absolutely breathtaking, and the calm surroundings made it feel like a private paradise. We spent hours just relaxing by the pool, enjoying the ocean breeze and quiet atmosphere. The restaurants were also very good. The food was delicious, breakfast had plenty of variety, and the dining ambiance was warm and relaxing. Having dinner with the sea view and soft lighting created such a romantic mood for our celebration. The staff were friendly, welcoming, and always attentive, which made the experience even more comfortable. The entire property was clean, beautifully maintained, and surprisingly quiet despite being such a famous landmark. If you are looking for a romantic escape, peaceful retreat, or simply a unique experience in Bintan, I highly recommend Doulos Phos The Ship Hotel. It was a memorable celebration with my wife, and we will definitely come back again. Interesting history and strategically located near the ferry terminal, but service efficiency and range of activities could be improved

Room is clean and bed is comfortable. Staff are very friendly, polite and cheerful. Floor is a bit titled. Boat tour is interesting. There are also swings for kids. Great infinite pool with nice view.
