Desa Potato Head Bali

The concept was well-executed, and the detailed service was wonderful! It was clean, but since it's Bali, I was still a bit concerned about the water, so I used a shower filter and rinsed my mouth with the bottled water provided. I would recommend this hotel.

1. The hotel's location is convenient, and there's a shuttle bus service to the main road. 2. They advocate for environmental protection; upon check-in, guests receive a tote bag and two metal reusable cups. The hotel is filled with recycled and eco-friendly elements. 3. Breakfast is super delicious! There's a variety of Indonesian-style fried rice/noodles, omelets, eggs benedict toast, juices, coffee, breads, and pastries. You can enjoy a leisurely breakfast by the pool on a lounge chair (all you can eat!). After eating, you can jump straight into the pool for some Instagram-worthy photos. 4. The Bamboo Suite has a self-service bar, complete with cocktail recipes! The bathroom vanity is a bit low, which is slightly inconvenient. The drying rack on the balcony is not very practical. 5. The infinity pool offers stunning sunset views right next to it.

We stayed at this hotel for our 5-day, 4-night trip to Bali. The room was meticulously cleaned, giving it a very fresh and tidy feel. At the beach club, we made a reservation for seating (2,500,000 IDR), which made the experience feel truly out of this world. This hotel definitely made our trip even more memorable.

The location is perfect and the hotel's service is impeccable. We received a bottle and a cross-body bag at check-in, and a bracelet at check-out. The room (Sunrise) was very stylish, and it's no wonder it was chosen as one of the top 100 hotels in the world. However, there was no power outlet next to the bed, and the shower was a bit difficult to use, so I don't think this room would be suitable for long stays.

The service was good, with seamless assistance throughout the entire check-in process. The room was very small and densely packed. The hotel's design concept was consistent throughout, and its eco-friendly philosophy was reflected in the details. Upon check-in, we received two insulated cups and a tote bag, and the departure gift was a plastic bracelet. The story felt quite complete, I suppose. The welcome cocktail making was fun, and the room also provided mosquito repellent, sunscreen, and body lotion. I liked the wooden shower. We had dinner and breakfast at the daybed restaurant; the food was decent, but the atmosphere was great. It's close to Seminyak Village, but the streets are too run-down for a city walk, so we just relaxed at the hotel the whole time. When taking a Grab to the lobby, security guards checked the car, which felt very safe. However, to leave, you can only take the shuttle bus, which generally doesn't require much waiting.

This place is absolutely amazing! The service is excellent, everything is clean, and the bar has a fantastic vibe. There were foreigners dancing, taking photos, drinking, and socializing – a truly great atmosphere. The welcome drink was a delicious and potent lime gin, surprisingly easy to drink despite its strength. I highly recommend staying in a suite. You can mix your own drinks or have a bartender come to your room. This was definitely my favorite hotel during my Bali trip. They use Dyson hairdryers and have double sinks. They provide aloe vera gel, sunscreen, and alcohol. The welcome cookies and minibar items are complimentary, and the tea bags are fragrant and tasty. While the cookies were just okay, the chairs, sofas, and lamps are all designer brands 💡, and the slippers are very creative. They have a French press, but the coffee it made was honestly a bit unpleasant, very sour, even worse than traditional Chinese medicine, haha. The most impressive thing was the bedding. They use Aireloom mattresses, which easily cost around 100,000,000 IDR. It was incredibly dry and comfortable to sleep on, I fell asleep instantly, no back pain at all, with excellent support. The hotel's privacy is top-notch. Even though Potato Head is a popular spot, it never felt crowded with idle or random people. This is probably due to the strict security at the entrance, which keeps many people out. You need security clearance to enter the bar.

The design is sophisticated, the food at the hotel restaurant is delicious, and the pool is great. The beach club is also very stylish. All the staff were kind and full of smiles, which made for a pleasant experience.
