Charming hotel in a beautiful, easily accessible location in Groningen. Room 1 is a beautiful, large room with a classic ceiling and a large bathtub, definitely worth inquiring about.

We wanted a bath, so we booked a deluxe double room with bath. It was an exceptionally large room with high ceilings. This also made it difficult to get warm. We understood when checking out that their was a second heater in the room. Also the bath was in the room (not in a bathroom and therefore enclosed) and that was not really comfortable as the outside temperature of the room was quite cool. When we stay there again we will stay in a smaller room and then without the bath. What made the stay was the pop-up restaurant in the souterrain. That was really fabulous and different. It offered vegetarian tapas-like menu but really delicious and of high quality. There was also meat options as sides. Everything was really tasty and very reasonable!

Excellent staff with a can and will do attitude also service with a smile. Room clean and comfortable but a little noisy in the evenings. Overall an enjoyable stay and would stay there again.

Great hotel, sublime location, very friendly and helpful staff and very, very comfortable rooms with good facilities. The breakfast is especially worth a mention!

Lovely hotel, good location, fair price. Even though it was the start of the University year and lots, I mean lots, of students were dressed up (and down) wandering through the city, our room was blissfully quiet. We did not have breakfast in the morning.

Our stay was not a success. When booking we specified that the bed was to be made up as two ( My partner is recovering from a stroke ). This was not done and the young lady on the desk had to do it. My partner became ill in the night and so we had to return to The Hague the following morning. We had booked two nights and the hotel insisted on being paid for two nights despite the fact that our leaving early was caused by illness. Inhumane and mean.
