The room was old and damp; they should really have a dehumidifier. The bathroom fixtures were also old, and the showerhead sprayed water everywhere due to leaks in the hose connections, and the water wasn't clean. The bed sheets were pilling, which made me really itchy when trying to sleep. The children's meal cost 800 baht, which I found to be poor value for money, as the food wasn't anything special. What was most shocking was when I told the staff member frying dough sticks by the soy milk station in the morning that the soy milk tasted sour and strange, she called me 'crazy' in front of a male staff member who can attest to it. Overall, this stay was neither good value nor enjoyable. I definitely won't be returning.

Great atmosphere with delicious dinner and breakfast included. The premium tent was luxurious with a comfortable bed, but it wasn't soundproof. Service was good. Recommended if you're looking for an experience.

It was great. It was surprisingly clean and bug free for being a hotel inside a jungle. I only wish the hotel provided earplugs as wild dogs, cats, and other animals make noise all throughout the night.

For location wise we gave a 4 star because it is almost 1hr 30mins away from Kanchanaburi, but nevertheless it is a place with history and we really enjoyed our stay. Hintok River Camp is a beautiful accommodation, it is clean and staff are friendly. It is a regret that we only stayed 1 night. No time for the river kayaking, cycling the surrounding area and trekking the Hellfire Pass trail. We had a wonderful and relaxing Thai massage though.

Luxus camping site, the tents are very comfortable and have AC. It is a beautiful, green place right on the river Kwai. Absolutely recommend for families with children.
