Beautiful modern decor in a classic New England mansion. They did a beautiful job making the most out of this carriage house. My son loved the bedroom. Great for a family of three to share for a short term. My only complaint was the air freshener in the bathroom, which sent the whole house with something that smelled a kin to a porta-potty. I suppose I could’ve moved it outside, but we were only there for one night. There was nothing in the whole space that made it seem like it needed that “freshening“ as the entire place was spotless. The kitchenette was adorable and again can’t say enough about the decor! We made this plan last minute, so the check-in email didn’t come until we actually arrived at the property, but the remote staff was easily reachable by phone and walked me through the process very quickly so there was a little delay in getting in the door.
My only last note to travelers across the board is that in April Rockport is still in the “off-season“ which isn’t really projected anywhere. There were literally two restaurants open on a Thursday night and everything else was closed, until at least the weekend or perhaps until the summer!
