I checked in late Friday night. Most of the lights were out in the lobby, except for at the front desk. Hotel staff was talking to friends in the lobby on the sofa. No greeting, no acknowledgement of my status...just ID and CC. I asked about some restaurants that may be open and was pointed in the right direction. The room was nice, the bed was nice, the amenities were nice...so the quality if the room was the best thing, certainly. I went down for breakfast the next day and it was a sparse continental breakfast. I saw a guy on a laptop on the opposite side of the restaurant, so I figured that was a good place to sit. Nobody greeted me. I couldn't find a bowl for the oatmeal, so I wen to the front desk agent, again seated on the couch, and asked for help. She went over to the guy sitting, who was the person and sked hm for help. Nobody could be bothered, it seems. It was extremely unprofessional and NOT up to any level of a Marriot standard. I came back later in the day, my room was refreshed, but again, the lights were all but off and again, staff on the couch with friends. The next day, same deal with breakfast, no greeting, but I knew the drill. I returned later that evening and my room wasn't cleaned...what??? It was then I decided to leave a review. I asked about the restaurant, if could order some food, they said no, it's closed. The bar was lightly sticked, but no service was available. Really weird vide in the place. It felt a little unsettling. Another guy checked in at night and commented on the lack of lighting...so it wasn't just me. There was super LOW occupancy in the hotel, maybe 10 guest rooms taken. I checked out and got the unannounced GREEN FEE of $5 per day. I booked and paid at Marriott.com and this wasn't in the reservation...so somewhat of a scam. I would never return.
