Fairfield by Marriott Inn & Suites Melbourne Beach

Upgraded to their presidential suite, nice and spacious and nice to have a balcony with views of the ocean across the street. Check in was a breeze. Bed was comfortable, nice furniture & toiletries. There for 3 nights and breakfast was the same every day, scrambled eggs and sausage patties, some places mix it up each day. Coffee was nice and hot and strong. Overall recommend.

We enjoyed our stay very much, the staff was excellent, helpful and friendly. We forgot our toothbrushes and promptly the staff located replacements , plus cold bottled water. We were very pleased. The breakfast was tasty and delicious with a wide variety of breakfast items. A very conscientious employee was constantly replacing food and wiping all countertops while smiling and singing. First room I paid for which said ocean view with a sofa was just a bed. So then moved to an interior room with a window looking into a conference room. Of course no adjustment to what I paid. But worst was they had no hot water and knew it but don’t tell their guests. What an awful experience!!

The location alone makes it worth it. It’s a new hotel, and is located directly across from the beach with easy walking access. Very close to shopping and food. The staff was very friendly and helpful! With it being a new hotel there’s not much to complain about; these items are minor- the AC unit in the room was a little noisy ( like a water running noise), the door to the room was a little difficult to latch all the way closed, and the handle in the shower came loose. The breakfast was just okay. The pillows were not great, but the bed was comfortable. Over all it’s a great spot especially for families wanting to go to the beach.

The hotel is brand new and the breakfast is good. Definitely recommend this hotel for short or longer stay. It’s 2 min walk to the beach, the front desk staff were very helpful.
