We booked a beach bungalow for 6 nights as part of an all-inclusive package. The staff was extremely polite, always smiling, and extremely helpful. The barman at the Seanic (a middle-aged gentleman) and Ann at the bar in front of the Madi were always welcoming us with smiles. Moreover, room service was always impeccable, with staff extremely polite (we stayed at room 315, last week of February). The food at the buffet was OK, we were never disappointed, and there was good rotation. Also, there, the staff made us feel very welcome from day one. The real highlight was the resort coral reef, which is still in great condition. We could see sharks, stingrays, turtles, and much more. The diving center was very well organised, although a bit expensive. Unfortunately, I could only do one dive because I caught a cold on the island (several people, including staff, were sneezing and coughing). We did a snorkeling excursion with them that was very underwhelming and overpriced; I would not recommend it. Overall, a great holiday, and we're looking forward to visiting Ellaidhoo again.

This hotel has a great reef but is seen better days. It needs to get revamped. It has one of the best reefs in the Maldives so you have to cope with all the faults of the hotel. I booked the all-inclusive for $137 a night plus 26% tax and service charge. Don't come in May All you get is rain rain rain rain rain rain rain rain rain rain. The food was okay. They put me on the second floor and I had an ocean view. Good thing about this hotel is that they have a washing package. If you stay less than four nights I think it's $22 and they'll wash everything that you own. If you stay four to seven days I believe I spent $32 for their laundry package which is unlimited laundry. Their drinks are okay nothing named brand. If you're on the all-inclusive and you want carlsberg then they have to put it in your room because they just serve beer on tap that's lion. I would stay there again because of the reef but the hotel is absolutely nothing special.

Very nice resort island, with personnel always ready to help and always there for you. Food is impressive and various plates are served. The bars are serving very good cocktails and in the evenings there are good entertainment programs. The minus I would highlight is the activities offered, different kind of trips on the sea, but if not enough subscribers, excursion is cancelled or it can become a private one for a very high price. Also as e negative feature, the convenience store displays shameless prices, really offensive; I would understand these commercial excesses for unnecessary merchandise, but when you put a price of 50 dollars on a small bottle of sunscreen, is obvious they just want to rip off tourists.

Service: The hotel's reservations department was terrible. They didn't respond to messages on the platform for two weeks, emails weren't always answered, and phone calls weren't always answered. We arrived in Male a day early with our two-year-old child and informed them of our flight information a month in advance. They said they would notify us of the island's speedboat time a few days in advance. Finally, after arriving in Male, we called in the afternoon, only to be told the speedboat was scheduled for the following afternoon! The earlier flights were already booked, and they refused to accommodate, even ignoring our child's nap. Ctrip eventually intervened and rescheduled the boat for 10:00 AM, which still had space. When leaving the island, our 12:45 PM flight was rescheduled for a 7:00 AM speedboat, ignoring our two-year-old's sleep. Furthermore, the passenger terminal is closed three hours before departure, meaning we would have had to wait outside the airport for over an hour for the 7:00 AM boat. We ultimately rescheduled the boat for 10:00 AM (we'll be responsible for any losses if we miss the flight, as the 10:00 AM boat still leaves plenty of time for all formalities). The front desk provided incomplete and untimely information. When I inquired about the seaplane departure from the island, I was told it cost $150 per person and the time would only be known one day in advance. When I finally went back the day before to inquire about the time, I was told I had to book three days in advance. Without a reservation, I didn't have a departure time and couldn't book again. The minibar in the room took three days to be restocked. I called to get a bar of soap, and after informing the housekeeping staff myself, it took two days (even after I tipped them in advance). The restaurant and bar staff were generally nice. Cleanliness: My child had an allergy in the room for a few days, and the bed sheets were changed on the fourth day to alleviate the problem. Housekeeping is only cleaned daily, so sand easily accumulates in the room. Environment: The island is a lagoon surrounded by a breakwater. For those with limited swimming skills, the currents and waves are low, making it relatively safe. For those who want to snorkel, swimming out through the several gaps in the breakwater is also very convenient. The downside, however, is that it can affect photography. The beach is nice, with plenty of greenery and shade. The 75-minute speedboat ride to the island is quite manageable, but a seaplane is available for an additional $150. The various boat trips on the island are reasonably priced, costing just a few dozen dollars, which is perfectly acceptable. Large fish can only be spotted by sharks, and turtles are rare, but still visible. There are almost no child-friendly facilities. When we first arrived, there were a few outdoor slides and playhouses, but they were removed after a few days of play. Overall, the island is not very child-friendly. The restaurant, similar to other islands, primarily serves South Asian and European cuisine. Meal times are more aligned with South Asian and European time zones, though East Asian tourists are rare. Meals are served at 7:00 AM, 12:30 PM, and 7:30 PM. Combined with the time difference, young children may find themselves starving when hungry and sleepy when meals arrive. This is something parents should consider in advance. The first time we took our children to the Maldives, they suffered greatly. This time, we decided to spend a few days in Sri Lanka to adjust to the time difference, which was much better after arriving on the island.

The room was nice, but the private beach was dirty and littered with construction debris, as shown in the pictures. We were tricked into going to see whale sharks by the dive center, but ended up just accompanying them on a 12-hour dive, costing us $450 for two people. We complained to the hotel, but they said the dive center was independently operated and unrelated to the hotel, so we had to call the police, as shown in the pictures. Even the police were just trying to smooth things over, and we ended up paying $386. The waves are quite big near the water villas, but there are definitely more fish and corals. It's best to have an instructor with you. It's more suitable for experienced divers; the underwater scenery is beautiful.

An excellent hotel, cozy villas, a stunning reef, food for every taste, everyone is very considerate, calm, and friendly. If you want to relax and enjoy the sea, this is a great option.

Facilities: The overall facilities in the water villas are good! The only drawbacks are inconsistent water pressure in the showers and the mattresses and pillows not being very comfortable… The restaurant in the water villas is also nice! Environment: The snorkeling resources on this island are amazing! They far surpass many scuba diving spots! 👍🏻

This is the twelfth time I have been to Maldives. The biggest highlight of this island is that the food is very delicious. The hotel buffet has a variety of main dishes every day. In the eight days we stayed, there was seafood barbecue one day, steak one day, hot cabbage beef one day, Turkish kebab meat sandwich one day, etc. Anyway, they are all delicious, especially the variety of Western pastries and fruits, which are always changing. Every day, there are fried pasta and salads on the spot, which are very delicious! The hotel water house has a disadvantage that there is no stairs to go into the water (so I suggest not using the water house) because the sea view beach house has stairs at the door to go into the sea, so you can go into the sea to see fish anytime and anywhere, which is very convenient. In addition, the hotel beach is not good, but the diving is great. You can see a lot of fish wherever you go into the water. In addition, the hotel front desk manager is very enthusiastic and attentive. When we proposed to go to the island on the first day, due to the hotel's poor arrangement, we wasted six hours waiting in vain. The manager sent us a return seaplane to compensate for our time loss. Thank you very much. This hotel is very suitable for a trip of more than ten days. My wife and I like it very much and will go there again next time we have the opportunity!
