Sheraton Commander Hotel

I'm not sure what the hotel's design team was thinking. The air conditioning unit is installed below the window and very close to the head of the bed, and the sink is directly opposite the head of the bed with no separating door. Plus, the soundproofing isn't great; I could hear children in the next room. Guests who are light sleepers should definitely consider these factors.

The room layout is very sensible; to the left upon entering is the toilet and shower, and to the right is the sink and closet area. The room isn't large, but it's clean and cozy, and despite facing the street, it's very quiet. The hotel lobby is also beautiful, featuring a large crystal chandelier, and the hallways are decorated with displays related to the American Revolutionary War. The hotel is just a few minutes' walk from Harvard University, making it an excellent place to stay for campus visits, as you can explore early in the morning and avoid the crowds.

The room was clean and tidy, and the bedding was exceptionally comfortable. The staff were very welcoming and helpful. It's about a ten-minute walk to Harvard Square. The only minor issue was that the smart air conditioning was a bit difficult to turn off, and it made me feel a bit dry overnight.

The location is fantastic, right next to Harvard University, and everything is within walking distance. The room was clean and spacious. Check-in and check-out were very quick. However, valet parking is mandatory and costs $45 per night.

Very close to Harvard University, which is super convenient.
