Very nice hotel with very friendly staff! The housekeepers were the best! Even the thick towels made me feel at home! Thank you to everyone and especially the ladies at the front desk!

Friendly Staff, great location (within walking distance of the amenities) Remodeled post flood, and the place looked great! Smallest elevator I’ve ever been on - it could be called ‘cute’

A great hotel. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We stayed there during the 4th of July and the parade was in front of the hotel. The fireworks were behind the hotel. There is parking in a lot. The restaurant attached to the hotel is great. Would highly recommend this hotel.

The hotel is in a great place and the staff are very friendly and helpful. Our room was spacious and clean. The fitness center is solid--two treadmills, two bikes and some weights. We did not eat at the restaurant but the hotel has an extensive snack/drink area so we always had what we needed.

We had a 8 rooms booked there for our bands that were playng in the area and the person at the counter for check in should not of been working there. He was not fit for the job, had to call a manager and get them out of bed becuase he could not figure out the system.

The hotel was centrally located. Very clean and the staff was friendly. The room was a little tight as was the bathroom but I recognize the hotel is older but well maintained. Their restaurant J Morgan's was very good. Great steaks.

The location of this historic hotel was perfection. Situated in the heart of picturesque Montpelier we had a view of the gold domed state building and were able to walk to enticing shops, restaurants and the weekly farmers market. The room was clean, quiet and comfortable. The staff was very personable, helpful and welcoming. Although this is an older property with some dated features the staff, cleanliness, comfort and location makes it a property to visit again.

Although the staff was professional and friendly, three employees stood out. Valerie (desk clerk) is an absolute gem, I saw her greet each guest like they were truly old friends. She was genuine, kind and took care to ensure each person was treated appropriately. Melissa (housekeeper), was extremely helpful with responding and resolving my coffee machine. Derrick (the bartender) was very polite, well traveled and remembered my drink (Moscow Mule). I would have liked to have sat at the bar and watched the NBA Finals and order another drink but a young (19 year old waitress) woman stood behind the bar talking loud and nonstop to a couple about her travel experience through various states. She seemed nice and friendly but it wasn’t the time or place…
