Cute room and short walk to town. Only thing is my sitting area had a urine smell that wasn’t desirable. I opened the windows and found out quickly they don’t shut completely so that was a little scary since I was traveling alone

Lovely stay! We stayed in the Dodge Cottage, Katherine X suite and it was lovely! Very nicely furnished with kitchenette. Very quiet, too. Bathroom amenities were nice, but bathroom could use a little updating. Linens were nice, beds were quite firm. Staff was SO friendly and we loved spending time at the main 1661 Resort building. Thebreakfast was outstanding also!

Check in is in a different building but they offer storage for luggage and a ride to the room.

The only issue ( and was quite a BIG ) one. We had to walk to another hotel quite a distance UPHILL to check in! Management did this for their convenience??!! Not only was this was VERY inconvenient, BUT EXHAUSTING in the summer heat, lugging our luggage Although I like the cottage we stayed at, because of this I may NEVER book with ******* again!
