Changbaishan Hotel

The environment is great, and it's convenient for getting around; it's a short walk to Nanhu Lake and Guilin Street. The service is top-notch – the staff helped with luggage upon arrival, and both of our booked king rooms were upgraded to suites for free, which was fantastic. I'll definitely choose Changbaishan Hotel again next time I'm in Changchun.

I absolutely have to give a huge shout-out to Tingting at the front desk for this stay! When I arrived to check in, Tingting was incredibly warm and polite throughout the entire process. She handled everything efficiently and smoothly, so there was no long wait. She was patient and detailed in her communication, proactively informing me about breakfast times, elevator locations, and important notes about room facilities. She even thoughtfully recommended local transportation and dining spots. Later on, when I had some questions, she answered them promptly and kindly, always maintaining a gentle and patient demeanor. Her service was truly heartfelt. Unlike typical mechanical greetings, she was genuinely sincere and attentive to every detail, showing a very high level of professionalism. Excellent front desk service is the face of any hotel, and Tingting's thoughtful and attentive service significantly enhanced my stay. I'm so grateful for her dedicated hospitality; it made my trip feel incredibly comfortable. I highly recommend this hotel, and if you're lucky enough to be assisted by Tingting during your visit, you're guaranteed to have a wonderful experience. I'll definitely choose this place again for my next trip!

Exploring different hotels in Changchun, beyond the usual Hyatt, I decided to try the newly reopened Changbaishan Hotel. It definitely has its own unique charm. After its HNA era, this hotel, boasting a prime location between Nanhu Lake and Guilin Road, has undergone a complete renovation and re-opened its doors. The rooms feel much more spacious now, and the design has been thoroughly modernized. The overall service is up to contemporary hospitality standards. I must commend the excellent service and professionalism of the day-shift manager, who was a stark contrast to the night-shift attendant. The south-facing rooms offer pleasant views of Nanhu Lake and Xinmin Street, with good greenery, which definitely improved my mood during the stay. However, the north-facing rooms, overlooking Guilin Road and Tongzhi Street, still felt quite old and dated. My only minor complaint is that the lobby was quite noisy and chaotic due to various graduation banquets and conference receptions. The flow of people could definitely be better managed.

The hotel's location is excellent, within walking distance to Nanhu Park and Ouyashangdu. The service is great; every staff member greets you with a smile.

Facilities: The facilities are new, the environment is great, and it pretty much has everything you need. The room is spacious, and the breakfast is abundant and delicious. Cleanliness: Generally very clean, though there are a few minor things that could be improved, like the towels. Service: The service was warm and attentive. They upgraded our room type, promptly handled any issues we had, and even gave us a small gift. Location: The location is excellent, right across from Nanhu Park and near Xinmin Street, which is very convenient. I would definitely choose to stay here again.

The room was comfortable and clean, and spacious enough. The environment and hotel location are both great, not too far from anywhere. We ordered à la carte at the hotel's Chinese restaurant for lunch, and it was surprisingly delicious! The front desk and bar staff in the hotel lobby were very friendly and provided excellent service. It would be even better if other staff members we encountered in the hallways were trained to proactively greet guests.

Due to a typhoon, I had to change my plans and booked this hotel in Changchun last minute – and what a pleasant surprise it was! The room was quite spacious, the staff were all very welcoming, and the cleanliness was acceptable. They even allowed me a late check-out. The surrounding area is great too; it's just a 5-minute walk to Nanhu Park and Ouyaxin Life Plaza. It would have been absolutely perfect if they could have waived the breakfast fee for my child.

I heard that Changbaishan Hotel is a historic hotel that recently underwent renovation, and the photos looked great. So, when I came to Changchun, I chose to stay here. For a price of just over 600, you get two 1.35m twin beds and breakfast included – what more could you ask for? I feel the service is much better than those big-name five-star hotels. The room is spacious, the service is excellent, the bedding is comfortable, and it's very clean. It's also super convenient for visiting places like Changying Studio. Definitely recommended! 👍 My travel companions all thought it was good, and we'll definitely stay here again if we have the chance. The only thing is, because it's newly renovated, there's still a slight smell in the room. You can ask the staff for an air purifier. If you're sensitive to smells, you might consider staying here at a later time.

Traveling with family, the service was excellent. It's right next to Xinmin Street, a really unique historical and cultural district in Changchun. Behind the hotel is the Xiguilin commercial area, where you'll find authentic Northeastern BBQ and coffee shops in Xikang Hutong. It's a fantastic neighborhood and a great hotel. I'd love to come back to Changchun and stay here again next time!
