Plesant experience: Special thanks to Suzuki san for helping us with wearing the rental Yukata and it brightened the entire stay with us wearing cute kimono with ready ribbon-like Obi around the onsen town. We enjoyed strawberry bought from Wadaya and tasting delicious croissant at PARADI watching Sakura bloom although it was on our last day of our stay. Thanks to our 1st day dinner server (he is so professional and kind). Unpleasant experience: Thanks to the Manager for checking and appreciate the Respectful chef for coming to explain what least expect to find a small sharp turtle bone in my chawanmushi. Luckily I didn't swallow it. Lesson learnt: while enjoying silk egg tofu, never should just glide down your throat. Still need to be cautious! Although all 3 days kaiseki was really delish, left me a little phobia of sharp object in food no matter how reliable the venue is. Still, I believe I am lucky star haha! Lastly, thanks to the front desk reception guy (sorry can't recall your name) for your kind dinner arrangement with crab on 2nd night and welcoming us on 1st day. My stay at Kinosakionsen was overall a wonderful experience. I would still recommend to my friends your hotel as I believe the Management is serious about us sharing kind feedback so that unpleasant happenings could be avoided. Looking forward to better service from your hotel staff. Cheers!

The room is spacious and can accommodate three people. The facilities are new. There's a free shuttle bus service from the JR station. For the two nights, dinner was kaiseki cuisine, featuring snow crab on one night and fish on the other. The hot spring town also offers plenty of dining options.

A very nostalgic and cosy place. The room is spacious and futon beds was comfortable. Only tried the breakfast which is simple and so so only.

Due to heavy snowfall, both trains and buses were canceled, which put me in a difficult situation. However, thanks to the hotel's thoughtful assistance, I was able to get to a station where the subway was still running, allowing me to continue the rest of my trip in Japan. Thank you! Also, the crab course dinner was absolutely delicious.

Very nice Japanese hotel with good service and facilities (public hot spring bath where women and men are separate and several private hot spring baths that I recommend to book in advance). We also had an amazing massage in the hotel spa. The down side would be that the hotel doesn't offer western beds (only Japansese futons) and that the personnel doesn't speak very good English (but are very nice and are trying their best to help)
