Yangxian Village, Wangxian Valley

If you're visiting Wangxian Valley, this is definitely the place to stay. I initially thought there might be some small insects, given it's in the mountains, but there were none at all! It was spotless, and the service was so warm and welcoming. I was particularly impressed with the WeChat concierge, "Wangxian Valley Housekeeper Xiao Wei," who was incredibly responsive and helpful. Overall, my entire trip, including the scenic area, the hotel, and especially the hotel's breakfast, was outstanding. There's a direct shuttle bus from Shangrao Railway Station to the scenic spot, which is super convenient. Definitely worth a visit!

Extremely satisfied, highly recommend staying here when visiting Wangxian Valley! The scenery is so different between day and night. The room type is very spacious and the facilities are quite new. The twin room easily accommodates four people. It's clean and bright. Staff are enthusiastic and helpful with parking, shuttle service, and check-in. They'll even carry your luggage to your room. Plus, there's a free butler service; Little Bear Butler was very attentive, answering all our questions, which was incredibly convenient. They even thoughtfully provided a bug repellent kit upon check-in.

This time, I chose the recently renovated Yangxian Village, and it was great in every aspect. The family room in the 'Weilou' (earthen building) was particularly unique. Check-in was very convenient; someone guided us directly to our room, which was helpful since it was our first time and we might have gotten lost. Our butler, Xiao Wei, was always quick to resolve any issues. It was a wonderful travel experience.

We were able to check in around 4 PM. The environment is lovely, and my mom was very pleased. It's perfect for family trips, and the staff who helped with our luggage were very efficient. The only minor issue is that the room had a bit of a strong smell when we first entered.

The room was great, my daughter loved it. Facilities: Excellent. Cleanliness: Very clean. Service: Very responsible.

I think Wangxian Valley has an amazing variety of room types. Besides the scenic spots, I was even more impressed by the different accommodations available. There were rooms with small courtyards, next to bamboo groves, in cylindrical buildings, on cliff edges, two-story houses, and those with atrium courtyards, plus many, many more. Whether it was the stay or the sightseeing, everything was delightful. Sitting by the stream at the bar at night, sipping a drink and listening to music, I imagined how much fun it would be if I were here with a few friends. I'll definitely come back. However, there were some unreasonable arrangements in the scenic area. For example, hotel guests could barely get to the children's playground. It was impossible to walk there in the hot weather (they said it was over 40 minutes away), and there was no shuttle service. They said the shuttle was only available when checking out. So, I never made it there.

The environment and facilities are top-notch, and breakfast was decent. However, the service and management couldn't keep up. I had to wait an hour to check in, and my room wasn't cleaned until 5 PM.

I wouldn't recommend the hotel within this scenic area. It's the worst I've ever stayed at in any scenic spot. I also don't recommend visiting this artificial attraction at all; it feels like a total rip-off, so don't believe those recommendations you see on Xiaohongshu. The room's drain was clogged. I checked in around 5 PM, and even after dealing with it until past midnight, it wasn't resolved. There were also communication issues among the staff; the butler acted as if nothing was wrong, and the front desk kept passing the buck instead of handling it promptly. Ultimately, the housekeeping department stepped in to resolve the issue, but they only managed to switch my room the next day. After multiple communications with Ctrip customer service, they offered a 50% refund for one night's stay. Although there were some unpleasant moments, both sides communicated to resolve the problem, and I'd like to give a shout-out to Ctrip's customer service.
