Yangxian Village, Wangxian Valley

This hotel really left a deep impression on me. I don't have enough eloquent words to describe its beauty, but the moment the lights came on at night, my mind instantly told me that this was truly as impactful as the Forbidden City. Don't even talk about it being man-made; how many buildings on this planet aren't man-made anyway?

Immersive Location: Built into the mountainside, it's set on higher ground, avoiding the hustle and bustle of the main street. It's a 5-minute walk to key scenic spots like Qingyun Bridge, and you can catch a stunning sunset from the rooftop in the evening. The breakfast at Baihe Restaurant is delicious. You can also visit the百年围楼 (Centennial Enclosed Building) to enjoy freshly prepared Qianshan noodles while watching Gan Opera, making for a truly memorable experience. Smart Hardware: As a newer phase, the rooms have upgraded hardware, generally featuring floor heating, smart toilets, and voice-controlled central systems. Stay Benefits: Typically includes two 2-day valid scenic area tickets, free parking, and complimentary shuttle service within the scenic area.

The room was spacious and my kids absolutely loved the slide, keeping them energetic all day. The hotel is located right inside the scenic area, making it very convenient to enter and exit. The breakfast spread was quite good too. There's free parking available within the hotel, though it would be great if they could add electric car charging stations.

Besides being very close to the scenic area entrance, there's not much else going for it. Overall, it doesn't live up to its rating or price. However, the hairdryer in the room was decent, and the butler service was quite good – though you have to contact the butler for everything to get things done. Upon arriving at the first entrance before the scenic area, navigation showed we should enter from the right, but the security guard wouldn't let anyone in, regardless of whether they were staying at the hotel or not. Ctrip indicated there would be help with luggage, but in reality, you had to ask the butler, and then the butler had to contact Ctrip for that to happen. Otherwise, they refused to help. That slope was long, uphill, and the road was uneven, plus cars weren't allowed up it. The room was poorly ventilated, with a musty smell, and extremely poorly soundproofed. It was very noisy; you could clearly hear anyone passing by, which affected sleep. Overall, my impression is that I wouldn't want to go back a second time.

An absolutely terrible experience. We arrived at 11:30 AM for check-in with a group, and the front desk said the room was being cleaned and would be ready soon. Our family waited until 3 PM and still couldn't check in. When we went to see the assigned room number, it hadn't even been checked out yet. The front desk staff handling check-in had extremely poor service! The housekeeper, however, was quite nice and tried to help resolve the issue. Secondly, families with children should definitely avoid the treehouse room. The entire room only has stairs for access, and the treehouse area upstairs gets no air conditioning, making it very stuffy, hot, and poorly ventilated, not to mention unsafe. Also, the bathroom in this room type has no door, so the entire night we were assailed by the smell of the sewer and toilet – an incredibly foul stench that made it impossible to sleep! This was our real experience: a 1600+ yuan room accompanied by the smell of a sewer.
