We stayed here for 7 days at the end of January 2026. We received an upgrade to a beach bungalow with a direct view of the beach. What more could you ask for? The bungalow was fantastic and fully equipped, even featuring a rooftop terrace. However, we barely used the rooftop, as the balcony was more than sufficient. We only went to the terrace on Thursday evening to watch the weekly fireworks show from there. When you first turn off the main road, it can be a bit startling as the access road looks a bit run-down. But the resort itself is very clean. The large pool is lovely. The dining options seemed good; we only booked accommodation and had breakfast once. There was a huge selection, enough to satisfy anyone. There are also plenty of nearby dining choices both on the beach and along the main road. The location is at the far end of Lamai Beach, so it's not central. We found it to be a good spot. A 'Baht taxi' can take two people to Lamai center (about 2.5 km away) for 150 Baht. I slept very well. My wife was a bit bothered by the constant sound of the waves. The surf was quite strong during our stay, strong enough to knock you over quickly, so the ocean isn't very suitable for children. The pool would be a better option for them.

Good hotel, excellent location. Hotel buidling itself is a bit old, AC is very cold and strong in the rooms. The beach was very bad for swimming at the time we visited the hotel. Breakfast was okay, but nothing special. Overall, a good stay.

We had a lovely stay! As many others have written, there's a lot of renovation going on, and some things definitely need attention: broken floors, damaged doors, etc. All in all, though, for the price and its direct beachfront location, it's excellent! You should at least opt for a Pool View room, as the standard double rooms are in the front building, which isn't very appealing. The villas and pool view/access rooms are great. The breakfast is top-notch, and the staff are very friendly too!

There were numerous issues, all concerning and contrary to all booking information provided online at the time of booking. We have stayed 1 night, and since checked out as it was so bad to our health. We are seeking a refund of the remaining 9 days we did not stay at hotel. For reference, we have taken numerous photos at the appalling state of the hotel and rooms. Room - extremely hot, despite AC running full power, I noticed there is gaps in the wall to the outside which I’m guessing is why the rooms remained hot. Doors do not lock securely, meaning unsafe, yellow stains on white bed linen repugnant. No hot water, cold or warm only. Pool - mould and algae growing in pool, making it unusable Bar - was closed, and never saw any service there being available at any time Breakfast - all cooled items were hot, yoghurts, drink, fruit and milk were sitting around without ice or cooling. Extremely bad health risk.
