Shanghai Marriott Marquis City Centre

My stay at the Marriott Marquis Shanghai during this visit was excellent. Its location right by People's Square is super convenient, just a short walk to the subway, making shopping on Nanjing Road incredibly easy. The room was clean and spacious, the bed was very comfortable, and the staff were all very pleasant. Overall, it was a comfortable stay, and I'll definitely consider staying here again next time I'm in Shanghai.

The Shanghai Marriott Marquis City Centre boasts an excellent location, very convenient for shopping near People's Square. The room was clean and comfortable, and the bedding was soft. The executive lounge offered good food, and the service was prompt. Luggage delivery was efficient, and the facilities were well-maintained. Staying here in Shanghai was really stress-free.

The room was very spacious and clean, felt comfortable the moment I walked in. The bed was large and soft, I fell asleep instantly. The blackout curtains were perfect; pulled them and it was pitch black. The bathroom was clean and the shower pressure was excellent. Had a fantastic night's sleep, woke up feeling incredibly refreshed. Breakfast was also delicious, highly recommended.

Our stay at the Marriott was overall very satisfying. 👍 Upon arrival, the front desk proactively upgraded our room and offered complimentary breakfast for our child, which made for a very pleasant experience. My child went swimming on the sixth floor for two consecutive days. The hotel staff were very attentive, providing towels and water, and there was a lifeguard on duty. The swimming area environment was also excellent. The hotel room size was decent, and the cleanliness was good. It came with a bathtub, which my child loved 💕, although the toilet was a bit old. I'd like to praise the hotel's delicious breakfast 😋, which offered both Chinese and Western sections. The restaurant was spacious with a beautiful ambiance and a wide variety of food options, definitely something to look forward to! The overall check-in experience was great; the lobby staff were very responsive to all requests. Food delivery robots could bring orders directly to our room. When we left, they even gave us small toys as souvenirs. We will definitely visit again!

Traveling with Marriott rarely disappoints, and our recent family trip to Shanghai was no exception. The hotel's location is excellent, right across from New World and the Radisson revolving restaurant, and next to Shanghai No.1 Department Store. There are plenty of great restaurants nearby, and Nanjing Road Pedestrian Street (Shimao Plaza) is just a 5-minute walk away, offering fantastic night views. Breakfast was also very generous, and the mini wontons were delicious! 😊
