Housekeeper Lisa was attentive and thoughtful, responding promptly and with just the right amount of detail and professionalism. Although the hotel facilities are dated, they exude a wonderful castle ambiance. The lobby and the aerial garden in the atrium are perfect for photos. The children had a great time at the kids' club and participated in the hotel's castle adventure activity. It was a truly wonderful stay, filled with joy, and I wholeheartedly recommend it.

The best hotel of our trip, absolutely loved it! The design is just incredible. **Location:** Since I was traveling with my 12-year-old, convenience to attractions was a key factor. I hadn't really researched it when booking, but after staying, I found it super convenient for getting to the nearby Forest Zoo (I'll write a separate guide for that later), Lotus Mountain, Haida Tunnel, Cross-sea Bridge, and Xinghai Square. **Environment:** Built on Lotus Mountain with unique architecture, so the views and scenery are unparalleled. **Facilities:** The room and amenities were all very complete. The only downside was that there was an event in the sky garden one night, so we couldn't enjoy the night view, but otherwise everything was great. **Pool:** I went for a swim every day. It was great for exercise and I could also use the steam room, which was very relaxing. **Gym:** Lots of equipment, but not many people actually working out – more guests were there for a holiday. **Shuttle service from the foot of the mountain:** Very convenient! Although the journey isn't far, it saved a lot of time and effort. There were always hotel guests waiting there. **Hotel photoshoot (3 retouched digital photos, requires 24-hour advance booking):** We did this on our last morning, and it was incredibly efficient! Started shooting at 9 AM, finished by 9:20 AM (we couldn't shoot outdoors due to the weather). We then waited 5-10 minutes to choose the photos. Every shot was beautiful, and I reluctantly paid extra for 10 more. **Breakfast:** Very extensive, and the specialty sea buns and 'dirty' buns were absolutely delicious! **To sum it up:** You get what you pay for!

First time in Dalian, and I booked the Castle Hotel online for two nights, which turned out to be an amazing surprise! Both the exterior and interior design of the hotel are incredibly striking and impressive. The observation deck on the fifth floor offers an unobstructed view of Xinghai Square and the cross-sea bridge, which is absolutely stunning. This was my second trip to Dalian, and I booked this hotel on Ctrip after seeing good reviews online. The hotel lobby is luxurious and grand, and the whole place is very clean. The front desk staff were polite and welcoming. We had dinner at the Chinese restaurant, and later received a surprise fruit platter in our room, which made us feel right at home. The fifth-floor garden platform felt like something out of Europe – truly memorable! If only there was an outdoor infinity pool, it would be absolutely perfect. I'll definitely be back.

My stay at the Castle Hotel was absolutely fantastic, completely exceeding my expectations. I had imagined a hotel over 10 years old would feel dated, but to my surprise, it was incredibly well-maintained. The rooms feature smart toilets, double sinks in the bathroom, and a spacious shower with excellent water pressure. The hotel's European castle style exudes grandeur and elegance, with meticulous attention to detail. The facilities, including the gym and pool, are comprehensive and have extended opening hours – the pool even opens at 6:30 AM! The sky garden on the 5th floor is beautiful, with the castle and greenery intertwining, offering a superb spot to view Xinghai Square and the cross-sea bridge. It's a perfect photo opportunity, and I've seen it recommended on Xiaohongshu. The hotel service was also exceptional, truly living up to its reputation as a 5-star landmark. After checking out, Dansey asked about my experience, and I was just so satisfied overall. I'll definitely be back!

We chose a family suite at Yi Fang Castle for our family trip, and it was a fantastic experience. The suite was spacious, with a separate living room and bedroom, so it never felt cramped with kids. The room was clean and tidy, the bedding was comfortable, and the hotel thoughtfully provided children's amenities – a really nice touch with attention to detail. The hotel's design is like a fairy-tale castle, and the public areas are beautiful. The heated pool and kids' club were a godsend for parents. Breakfast was plentiful, and staff member Dansey was very friendly. The concierge shuttle service was also very practical. The location is close to Xinghai Square, making it very convenient for trips to the beach. Overall, both the facilities and service were excellent. It's a top choice for family travel and definitely recommended.

The room was spacious with a great view, and you could even see the light show on the cross-sea bridge, which was beautiful. Dansey followed up with us throughout our entire stay, from before check-in to check-out, and even allowed a late check-out since the room was available.
