My husband and I stayed here in a standard double room during our trip to Kundasang. The room was spacious enough for the two of us, with plenty of space to open our luggages comfortably. It was also well equipped with sufficient hangers, two mugs, an iron and ironing board, and a hair dryer, which made our stay more convenient.
The highlight of this hotel was definitely the stunning view of Mount Kinabalu. Waking up to such a beautiful landscape was unforgettable, and the breakfast area also offered the same amazing view, making the morning meal even more enjoyable.
The staff were friendly and welcoming throughout our stay. Breakfast was good, with a decent variety including toast, nasi goreng, sausages, baked beans, sunny-side-up eggs, cereal, Sabah tea, coffee, and cordial.
Unfortunately, housekeeping could be improved. There were quite a few spider webs under the hanger area where guests would naturally place their shoes, which gave the impression that the room hadn't been cleaned thoroughly. We also spotted a baby cockroach crawling out from the bed, which was disappointing and affected our overall comfort.
Overall, the beautiful mountain views, friendly staff, and satisfying breakfast made for a pleasant stay, but the cleanliness issues need attention. With better housekeeping, this hotel would provide a much better experience.
