Cambria Hotel New Haven University Area

Thi’s Hotel is incredibly spacious, spotlessly clean, and features a sleek, modern design throughout. It’s also within easy walking distance of Yale University, making it incredibly convenient. The staff are warm, welcoming, and genuinely friendly—an absolute pleasure to interact with.

I don’t normally waste my time leaving reviews….. but boy oh boy. Not sure what was going on this weekend but cleaning was not on the table. As I approached my room, I was greeted with left overs and trash by my room door. I was simply leaving my stuff and running out the door to a concert. Little did I know this was a little preview. I came back around 1 AM, and got into my room. My gf, let me know there was a clump of hair in the shower. I told her that’s odd cause there was trash outside during check in. This then prompted me to look at the bed. Found stains on the sheets and realized they had given us 3 pillows lol. My gf later discovered a giant stain on the lamp. That’s when I decided it’s too late at night for this and said a review will hopefully sold my issue…. PS: my friend and her sister stayed in another room and found hair and leaves in the shower as well! For a hotel that’s used by possibly guest of people at the local hospital or Yale University….. I would have thought maybe they’d focus on cleaning.
