NOVOTEL Chongqing Airport

Staying at the Novotel was a wonderful experience—spacious, elegant, and I loved it. The room was bright, airy, and very comfortable. The lobby is grand, beautiful, and upscale. The Mercedes airport transfer was a great touch, and the driver was very thoughtful and helped us with our luggage.

Full marks to Fiona at the Novotel front desk! Her service was exceptionally thoughtful, and she patiently explained all the hotel's amenities. The room was spotlessly clean with no strange smells, and the facilities felt very new and comfortable to use. They offer airport transfer services, with a shuttle running to the airport every half hour—punctual and reliable. It’s so convenient for travelers catching a flight, saving the hassle of calling a taxi. The overall environment is quiet, ensuring a great night's sleep, and the room with a balcony offered a fantastic view. Highly recommended to anyone transiting through Jiangbei Airport.

Because of an early morning flight, I decided to book a hotel near the airport. The soundproofing was great, and they even provide a shuttle van service to the airport in the morning—it only takes a few minutes and is super convenient. The hotel environment is also nice, and the room was quite a pleasant surprise: no weird smells and very clean. The facilities feel quite new, and considering the affordable price, it’s not much different from a five-star hotel. The staff were very polite and helpful, especially Xiao Huang, who was still answering my questions late at night. Food delivery services can reach the hotel, though delivery times might be a bit long sometimes, which is no big deal. Overall, a great experience. If I need to stay near the airport again, I will definitely choose this hotel.

Great hotel and very close to the terminal. There is a shuttle bus every half hour. If you miss it and have an emergency, the front desk will coordinate another vehicle specifically for you, which is very thoughtful. The rooms are spacious with balconies to watch airplanes (since there isn't much else to look at near the airport 😄). The facilities are well-equipped, clean, and hygienic, complete with a minibar. It truly maintains the high standards of an international brand.

Because we had a late-night flight followed by an early morning train, we specially chose a hotel near the airport with a pick-up service. The rooms are clean and spacious, with soft bedding and good soundproofing. Check-in at the front desk was efficient, and the service was attentive. The breakfast spread is rich, and they even have authentic Chongqing noodles. Overall, the facilities are new, and it offers great value for money. It's my top choice for business trips and layovers; I'll definitely be back again.

The Novotel is in a great location, just a 3-minute drive from the airport, and they offer a Mercedes shuttle service. A big thank you to the driver who proactively helped with our luggage. The front desk staff were very welcoming and even upgraded our room. For dinner, the poached fish was delicious – aromatic and numbing, but not too spicy. The breakfast buffet started at 6:10 AM and had a great variety: local Chongqing noodles, Cantonese shrimp dumplings, a wide selection of Western pastries and breads. The coffee choices were impressive, with tasty cappuccinos and caramel macchiatos, and I particularly enjoyed the fruit bread, egg pudding, and cheese. We had an 8:30 AM flight, and leaving at 7:00 AM was quick and convenient.

Our itinerary was quite tight, so we opted for the Novotel near the airport. The hotel was excellent; despite its proximity to the airport, it was surprisingly quiet at night. The room was spotless, and the front desk staff were very friendly. A particularly nice touch was the hotel's shuttle service to and from the airport, which was incredibly convenient.
