We had a very large room, but it overlooked the city and the sea! However, the window with the sea view was extremely dirty; it clearly hadn't been cleaned in ages, which really dampened the experience.
Our room was cleaned, and towels were changed regularly. One day, we weren't feeling well and didn't leave our room until 4 PM. I asked at reception for housekeeping, and the staff seemed surprised, clearly indicating that cleaning wasn't typically done at that hour. But they said 'okay,' and five minutes later, two cheerful housekeepers showed up.
The pool is absolutely beautiful, with frangipani flowers falling directly into the water – simply magnificent!
Breakfast was very inexpensive for us, and accordingly, quite modest. One day, we went for breakfast, loaded up our plates, and my husband suddenly felt unwell and had to leave. I was left sitting there, unsure what to do with all the food. I called over a waitress and asked if I could take some food back to the room, and she kindly agreed.
The location is good, just a 5-minute walk to the sea (where you can actually swim!).
