We stayed for two nights. The pool was spacious and very relaxing, which we appreciated. The hotel’s decor felt quite outdated, and the overall atmosphere would really benefit from some thoughtful redecoration to match the potential of the space. However, our stay was overshadowed by a persistent issue with unpleasant smells in the rooms.
When we first checked in, our room had a strong, unbearable odor — likely from the toilet system. We reported it to reception, and while the staff were polite and helpful, it seemed they were already aware of the issue. They moved us to another room, explaining that it had a similar problem but had supposedly been resolved. Unfortunately, the smell was still present. After informing reception again, we were moved to a third room.
During breakfast, we mentioned the issue to the kitchen staff, who also seemed aware of the problem in our original room. It felt unfair that we were placed there in the first place, knowing the issue hadn’t been properly addressed. Being moved from room to room wasn’t a real solution — it only added to our discomfort.
All the staff we met were kind and tried to help, and we appreciated that. Breakfast was just okay — nothing memorable. Overall, despite the lovely pool and friendly team, the unresolved room issues made our stay far less pleasant than we had hoped.
