Ocean Shores Hotel

We enjoyed our stay here, it was clean, was given helpful information and the view was spectacular !

Vicki at reception was so helpful. She upgraded our room at no charge. We even enjoyed the local bunny population! Super comfortable beds and crisp sheets. Loved having lots of space in the room! Great view from the room and even a path down to the beach. Best room of our entire 2 week stay.

Excellent place to stay. Had a great view of the ocean. Suggest getting the beach lani rooms next time we stay.

Fridge, microwave, coffee maker, bath, and best of all an amazing view. Everything was perfect from location to comfort and easy parking.

This quaint family-owned motel reminded me of the motels we stayed in in Florida pre- Disneyworld. The owner gave us the room that had been his father’s favorite because it felt like being in a bird’s nest, so we had an incredible view of the Kachemak Bay and Mountains. The room was clean, the bed comfy, the hot water and water pressure abundant, and the amenities included a fridge, microwave, coffeepot and coffee – everything I need in a room. The only downside was that of the 9 places we have stayed in during our Alaska vacation, this was the only one that didn’t have blackout curtains. Instead, it had plastic mini-blinds like those popular in the 80s. So with 3 windows and a patio door in the land of the midnight sun, sleeping was a challenge, even with eye masks.

What a fabulous place! Overlooking the ocean, with private path to the beach directly in front of the first tier of rooms. The rooms are basic but super clean, with coffee maker and big windows looking across the bay to beautiful mountains of Kenai Peninsula. Manager super helpful as to area tips, restaurants etc and Ocean Shores very close to great coffee shops, hikes and more. We stayed four days, loved every minute. And worth noting that in terms of price Ocean Shores the best bargain of our two weeks in Alaska. Highly recommended!

The location of this hotel was amazing! Our morning walks on the beach were one of the highlights of our stay. The grounds and landscaping were beautifully maintained, creating a relaxing atmosphere. Our room was spotless, beautifully decorated, and very comfortable. The front desk staff went above and beyond to accommodate every request and were incredibly helpful with our travel plans. Check-in and check-out were seamless and hassle-free. We couldn’t have chosen a better place to stay during our trip to Homer. We truly appreciated the outstanding hospitality and genuine friendliness of the entire staff. I highly recommend staying here and would absolutely return on a future visit!
