9/10 from us, ages 57-60 Flights/ transfers... Flew Manchester-Dubai- Male with Emirates, really easy conecting fight out and back home Water taxi to the resort 30-40 minutes, waited 20 minutes at Male to leave for the resort, directly outside the airport. We stayed in 181 beach villa... Two loungers, 2 chairs and a table on the deck, 2 life jackets, a safe provided. Spacious room with facilities to make a drink and store clothes. Good air conditioning with a celing fan. Outside shower took a bit of getting used to with gecko's, never bothered me, you do have a second shower under cover so no need to panick.(Mrs used the one under cover) The villa was cleaned daily, towels changed daily and mini bar/ fridge was topped up daily, inc exta water, I just left $10 on the bed, in the fridge and with the towels, at the begining of each week. The beach.. Looks and is amazing, shallow in a lot of areas, lots of dead coral in areas so would recommend water shoes, fish everwhere, odd barracuda and reef sharks make appeareances but do not bother people, don't be affraid they are harmless. Reef.. floating ring outside 195 drops to around 5-6mts deep, then there is another few deeper sections moving towards the lower no beach villas with deep sections, these are were you can see several bigger fish, rays, turtles and sharks, pick masks ect up from the water sports centre free for the duration of your holiday, I took my own. Dinning... Beach bar great for light lunch, lohis for a pizza was fine, buffet for beakfast, dinner and tea, never had a meal where I struggled to find somthing we would eat and my wife is fussy Indian pavillion was great, usually I would only eat an odd indian meal but with the choice I ate a lot of indian food I'd never tasted before...... It was all Excelent The pool Small but not for us, we used it on the first day only, found there was no breeze and really hummid... but not really for us when we had an amzing beach to sit at. Entertainment JJ twins, they do try but certainly wasn't my cup of tea unfortunatley, bit like status quo... found every song in the same cords, and sounds the same..... but I've seen worse tbh. Fire show...6 minutes long, was fine not amazing... Karaoke was good but this was due to the guests who took part. Staff amazing. All the staff work so hard, freindly nothing was too much trouble, the people working here are all amazing and a credit to the resort. Free trips Sunset cruise was nice around an hour good for photos. Dolphine trip was a nice change and broke the morning up seen plently of dolphines. Trips/ spa/ special meals I did the swimming with Sharks from the water sports centre, they supply life jakets and masks ect, but you don't have to wear the life jacket to get in the water, it was one thing I had always wanted to do and it was amazing, I'd recommend this, tbh I was a bit nervous at first, 3hrs long with the travel to and from the reef 30-40 minutes each way by speed boat... it wasn't
