Econo Lodge Cranston - Providence

This is a low price motel we used only because our furnace is bring replaced and we needed a warm place to sleep. Was a cold night and the door had cold sir blowing furiously under it into the room. I had to get one of the towels and tuck it under the door to stop it. Towels felt like sandpaper. Coffee maker a joke. It malfunctioned and spewed hot water all over the place. Did not like having to give a hundred dollar deposit. We are elderly and not likely to get drunk and rowdy.

The room was comfortable but the floors were very dirty and need to be washed.

The hotel is vey easyily accessible. It is situated right next to a a large shoppingcenter with various shops and restaurants. Plus, the city of Providence is only a 10 to 15 minute drive. Apart from that, the room was spacious, comfortable and clean. Would recommend this place to anyone looking for a good place to stay, while visiting Providence, without breaking the bank.

Air condition and heating system was adecuate, towells and bed linen was not as clean as expected, Parking is adecuate and safe. Staff serving the rooms were good but the one at the office was kind of impropper at the moment that a situation arised with my reservation and he threatened me of throwing my belongins in the garbage because of a mistake on my part at the time of checking out

Front desk person was extremely rude. Left early due to a leak in the ceiling. Offered to move my room but then i asked for a refund he said i would have to talk to expedite but didnt say he was unwilling too. Left instead of switching & tried to get a refund for the days i didn’t stay. ******* said its up to the hotel & called he said i won't give him a refund & i told him that & offered to accommodate the room due to the leak & supposedly i chose to leave. Maybe be direct about your intention & not rude & stingy Would not recommend this place.

Checked into the hotel and the experience was terrible. The room smelled extremely gross, the lights didn’t work, and the water was ice cold in the morning. I tried speaking with management and even wrote a letter, but the manager on duty refused to take it and claimed he would “report it.” The service was awful, and they didn’t even try to offer a refund or make things right. I do not recommend this hotel at all!

Nice place to stay for a night. Liked the room and everything else about it and also the stores and restaurants that are nearby. Definitely coming back

There was poop or brown stuff spot on the wall in the bathroom by the toilet paper holder. When I went to check out at 8:30 the front desk room was open but no one there. I called 3 times on my cellphone to get assistance on getting my cash deposit back.

The towels were not clean. I suggest getting a new set of towels. The bathroom looked stained. The room neighbors were loud all hours of the night. I understand there is limited control but there should be someone patrolling the area.
