How can I say anything bad about a resort

Ocean front property, walkable to the beach. Multiple options for pools. Multiple restaurants also. Pretty surroundings.

Great Place to Stay! Great hotel in a great location. The beach is awesome and the staff could not be nicer. Rooms are spacious, updated and clean.

Unfortunately our stay at the HHI Westin was far from what we expected for the price and from a premier Westin resort - and from past visits. The hotel is in need of some serious TLC/maintainance current room decor is cold, scant and showing its heavy beach and family use. Our room was clean but bed looked like it had been thrown together at the last minute and there was food debris on the outside balcony. We were disturbed twice by housekeeping (once waking us up early in the morning) despite having the do not disturb sign visible on door. Food

One night getaway The hotel itself is gorgeous, very welcoming reception area, check in was a breeze. The room itself was very comfortable, with a beautiful view! Our only complaint during our stay was that the shower was very slow to drain/clogged. Otherwise, everything was perfect.

I love the staff very friendly. Big THANK YOU to Kevin Pagnotto the Resident Manager, I was waiting for the front desk person and Kevin ask if he could help, I ask did he know the price of the chairs on the beach. He said maybe about 40 plus dollars, its not thou the Resort. But he said let him out around because so time guest leave thing. Kevin text me back and when you ready just ask the front desk for the chair. Kevin let me use his personal bag chair. Thats going above and beyond. Again, Thank you Kevin. I did see some review about the breakfast, it was good, our host and waitress Jill was great a nice variety with an Ouelette station. Now here are some bad points. just from reading the review before getting the resort, the elevator was out and it's still out as of 8/23/25. At the side, they had chairs/pads and cabanas for rent. My problem is NO ONE was partaking these items. So around the main pool you had about 15 chairs that your guess could have use. Take the pads off the chairs and let your guess enjoy the poolside (make that the grown people pool only...I think it just Hilton Head where there was not to do after 9 or so. Take one of your meeting rooms and a small club life for your grown folks guess only. But My biggest problem is the chairs.. The ladies at the front amazing.. Kevin amazing.. Nicole in the snack shop amazing .. Jill in the Caroline room, forgot the host name.
