Kempinski Hotel Chongqing

This is a fantastic hotel! While the location might not be the absolute best in Chongqing, it's still just a short taxi ride away from most attractions. The hotel seems to have been around for a while, but the facilities are incredibly well-maintained. My kids especially loved the swimming pool. The breakfast offers a wide variety of choices. If you're traveling with family, this hotel is definitely worth a stay!

Freer and Nula were excellent, they were very thoughtful during checkout. The room was also great, offering superb value for money.

An old five-star hotel that, despite its age, still maintains its quality. The swimming pool is not crowded, allowing for an uninterrupted swim, which is great and highly recommended! It's not far from Nanbin Road riverside, where the sunset is beautiful in the evening!

Savah's service was exceptional; she was warm, attentive, and thoughtfully granted a late check-out. The bedding at Kempinski is absolutely fantastic, ensuring a very comfortable sleep. I'll definitely stay here again next time I'm in Chongqing. Plus, they gave a little gift, which was a lovely surprise! 🎁

It truly lives up to the saying 'you get what you pay for.' The hotel is right in the city center, with plenty of authentic local eateries just outside. Even though it was a business trip and I didn't get to visit any attractions, the location itself made the business travel quite pleasant. The room, gym, and laundry facilities were all excellent. Highly recommended.

The room facilities are complete and the hygiene is quite good. It's an old-school five-star hotel. The Elemental Herbology toiletries are excellent, and the pool and hot spring experience were also good, though the women's hot spring facilities were out of order. One thing to complain about: the room was full of items for sale, with vending machines everywhere. It felt really cheap having a bunch of tagged products all over the room. Breakfast was great, with a rich selection. However, the slippers provided in the room are very slippery if there's water on the bathroom floor, making it easy to fall. I honestly would prefer plastic slippers, at least they're safe. I hope this can be improved. Also, we booked two rooms and were told one was upgraded. One room on the 23rd floor was upgraded to a scenic room on the 24th floor, while the other remained on the 23rd floor... There was no difference between the two rooms. This is the first time I've seen such an upgrade method, it's quite frustrating.

The hotel's location is fantastic, making it convenient to get anywhere. They have everything, from a tennis court to a swimming pool, so kids on vacation can keep up with their tennis and swimming practice. There are even little teddy bears in the room to help children fall asleep. The hotel service is also excellent. The kids absolutely loved the bread sold in the lobby as well.

Our last night in Chongqing was spent in a luxurious suite at the Kempinski, and it was excellent value for money. The room was incredibly spacious with 180-degree panoramic views, and the bedding was super comfortable. Special thanks to David Pang, Lynn Li, and Miya for making our stay so convenient.
