Seoul Forest Stay Guesthouse

Street-facing single room with sun and shade, and a very comfortable bed. It's a shame I booked too late in September and it was already full. I'll try another room next time if I get the chance.

I made a reservation on Sunday morning and visited the hostel two hours later. When I dropped off my luggage before check-in, they asked for my return time, and when I said around 10 PM, they immediately gave me a tour of the facilities. I was a bit flustered and didn't listen carefully to the explanations, so I ended up asking a lot of questions later, haha. The indoor areas are shoe-free, so I noticed some unorganized shoes by the door, but both the dormitory room and the communal kitchen were clean. There were two shared showers and toilets, and I never had to wait. They had almost all the amenities you could think of: shampoo, conditioner, body soap, body towels, face wash, toothbrushes, toner, lotion, cotton pads, cotton swabs, hair ties, and even hairbrushes. Towels were stacked for you to take as many as you needed, and there were hair dryers and curling irons. The shampoo and conditioner they provided made my hair silkier than my own, haha! Additionally, there was a laundry machine, water dispenser, coffee, tea, green tea, and even charging cables – truly everything you could possibly need. The facility isn't very large, so conversations and noise can be a bit noticeable, but everyone was quiet during my two-night stay. The hostel is close to the station and bus stops, with plenty of shops around, so you won't have any trouble finding what you need. There's even a DAISO. If you're used to dormitories, this is a very convenient hostel. The host and cleaning staff were also wonderful! I would love to stay here again when I come back to Seoul.

I stayed here for one night on a solo trip. I usually just look for a place with a shower and toilet since I only need a bed to sleep in, but I loved the rooftop terrace here so much that I wished I could have stayed for several more days. I had such a relaxing time, enjoying drinks with the night view, feeling like I was in a Korean drama, and even grabbing breakfast from the Subway downstairs to eat there. The staff were also very kind; they gave me a full tour of the building during check-in and even carried my suitcase to my room. I'd love to stay here again if I get the chance.

This hostel is fantastic! The front desk staff speaks Chinese and is super friendly. The location is excellent, right next to Line 2, making it easy to get to all the major attractions in about 30 minutes. Downstairs, there are plenty of restaurants and an Olive Young, plus a convenience store a few minutes' walk away. The hostel facilities are very comprehensive; you can cook your own meals, and they provide hair dryers, straighteners, washing machines, and dryers, as well as some skincare products. I'll definitely stay here again next time I'm in Seoul.

Richard was really nice and the service was great. The room was simple but clean, and it's very close to the subway station, which makes getting around super convenient. I'd definitely choose to stay here again next time I'm in Seoul! 👍🏻

They provided a lot of amenities, which was a nice touch, but it also made the room feel a bit cluttered. The guy at the front desk spoke excellent Chinese and was very enthusiastic. The transportation is also super convenient, with easy access to everything, which was great since I was out and about every day.

I stayed in a 5-person dormitory. It was clean, and amenities were self-service, which was nice. Towels and chargers were also provided. There were lockers in the room too. During my week-long stay, most of the guests were European.
