Hotel Du Lac et Bellevue

My partner and I arrived home yesterday from our anniversary trip and have already booked to come back in October for her birthday. I tend not to go back to the same place, however, we loved the location, staff, and atmosphere so much we immediately booked a return trip. We booked less than a day after arriving home ☺️ We stayed in a Junior top suite Bellevue on the top floor (piano 3) with a fantastic balcony and lake view. We have actually requested the same room when we return as we loved it so much. Great hotel, fantastic location, wonderful staff, and stunning views. They even brought us fizz on our balcony for our anniversary. Amazing experience and we can't wait to return.

Air con tethered at 22° wont go any lower , even thought room stat will go down (after speaking to reception ) to 16 °). Doesnt matter if 24° or 30 ° outside. 4th time at this hotel, time to move on.

This was our fourth stay at this hotel. We have been very happy with each of our stays. First off, as it has always been, the staff is incredibly helpful in every aspect from the front desk to the servers and managers. They are able to provide all kinds of information about traveling around the lake and booked private drivers that were very reliable for our transfers from Milan airport and to Verona. Aside from the wonderful staff, what we love most about this hotel are the amenities and location. It is right on the lake and has a private dock available to guests. It is a 10 minute walk to Bardolino center--so close enough to be convenient, but away from the noise and crowds. There are beach chairs with umbrellas, bicycles to rent and two pools; one with multiple jets and chutes. There is also a gym, sauna and steam room. The property has a cozy bar and lovely patio. The breakfasts are wonderful with many choices of fresh and tasty food. We ate dinner at the restaurant on two nights and enjoyed the food there as well. The rooms are a bit dated in decor, but spacious with a very comfortable bed, sitting area and balcony with a lake view (not all rooms have balconies with lake view). The shower is a bit small, but the water pressure was great. The rooms and premises are all well kept. Overall, we really enjoy this hotel and would not hesitate to stay here again.

The hotel is an an enviable position close to the lake and a short walk to the centre. Our room was large with views of the lake but very dated immaculately clean the bed was a super king there are no USB chargers in the room at all there is a kettle which is nice. Our air conditioning did not work on the first night I told reception the next day no change told them again and was told it would take longer to sort. This kept going for 5 days we were only staying a week, the room got down to 22.5!! still warm for us I have to say this was disappointing. The food was very hit and miss one meat option of various beef, veal, duck and pork and one fish swordfish, salmon and others and one vegetarian dish on the Italian night there was no vegetarian option on the menu so we ate out I mentioned this to the waiter the next day and was told I should have asked for the vegetarian menu (I didn’t know one actually existed), after that we did order from it, but not a great selection. Money has been spent on the pools and outside areas which are lovely but I think they would have been better starting with all the rooms first. Shame it could be brilliant it’s just average.

This is the third time we stayed at this hotel, and it never disappoints us, the hotel food staff and location is excellent and we will probably be back next year 🍷

I return often to this hotel as it is brilliant in every respect. The location, the staff, the food, the quality of everything is outstanding. For me it's perfect. Also It's quite easy to get from Verona airport on the bus. And it's easy to travel from Bardolino to Verona and on to places like Vicenza.

Staff very professional, rooms super clean and beautiful, location amazing. 30 minutes from Verona where i had an vent for 4 days.

Excellent holiday Lovely room , food first class Swimming pool clean and warm Pretty gardens Easy walk to Bardolino town Fabulous staff We had a great holiday , travelled around the lake using the bus and ferry Enjoyed days out to Verona and a local concert . We will be back for another visit .

Stayed here for a week, nice and relaxed stay.
