S3 Siam Bangkok Hotel

Very clean, and the location is fantastic! Siam Square is right outside the door, and getting a taxi is super convenient.

The hotel's location is excellent, and the rooms are quite clean. Plus, the front desk staff are super helpful. I highly recommend this place for anyone visiting Bangkok.

The soundproofing isn't great; the room next door was really noisy until midnight. The sink is too low, and the faucet splashes water everywhere as soon as you turn it on – very inconvenient. I love that the shower, sink, and toilet are separate, so you and your travel companions can use them simultaneously! The breakfast selection isn't huge, but it's sufficient! It's small but has everything you need!

TOTAL CATFISH! Do NOT be fooled by the pictures the hotel posts on booking sites! First, the location is great, right in a trendy area, within walking distance to everything. Second, the staff are all nice and family-friendly. And that's where the positives end. The photos are clearly wide-angle and make the rooms look much bigger than they are; in reality, they're extremely cramped. It's a conversion in a residential building. You enter on the ground floor and take the elevator straight up to the 8th floor where their front desk is, and breakfast is served in the same spot. The breakfast selection is very limited and exactly the same every single day!! There are ants everywhere in the room! We didn't bring any food in to attract them; they were there from day one. I know it's a risk in tropical regions, but it speaks to the overall quality – we didn't see a single ant at our hotel in Pattaya. The swimming pool has absolutely no shade, so it's perfect if you want to sunbathe, but it's not well-designed at all, just a very basic pool. The soundproofing is terrible! You can hear conversations from the next room crystal clear!! And the main point is, it's not even cheap! If it were 200 a night, I might accept this setup! The Holiday Inn nearby is only about 50¥ more expensive and is not even in the same league! I looked at a lot of hotels in the area, and we chose this one because it had two 1.51-meter beds pushed together, which we needed for our baby. I never expected everything else to be so different from the pictures! The room is incredibly small!!!! And this was a 'deluxe family room' – how much worse could a standard room be??!! Seriously, don't fall for it!

The room environment is great, and the BRT station is right outside, which is very convenient. It's just one stop or a short walk to Siam Square. The front desk staff are also very enthusiastic.

The hotel is really close to Supachalasai Stadium, just a short walk to the intersection, across the skybridge. The front desk even has staff who speak Chinese, and they proactively ask if you need room cleaning for the next day. The bellboy downstairs is super friendly and helped carry my luggage to the room. Thumbs up!
