Clean, and it looks like the bathrooms have been redone recently. They gave us a bag of snacks when we checked in.

Garden of the Gods Motel is by far the most convenient for walking to Old Colorado City, dining, coffee. Easy short drive to Manitou, Pikes Peak, Olympic Training Center, Velodrome and much more. Can't wait to come back again in 2026. This was my 2nd trip and Steve and his wife (owners) are super nice and accomodating.

Although a 2 star hotel, it is located in an optimal area, the staff goes out of their way to accomodate guests and I recommend it for a brief 1/2 stay where you want to be near The Garden of the Gods and the Manitou attractions.

The facility is older. Each unit has an air conditioner that must be turned on. This particular room had some mold in the bathroom. No one at the front desk when checking in. After ten minutes, I called the motel phone number and told someone I was waiting at the front. It appears to be a place for transients.

The room had a fridge as advertised. They gave us a couple small snack bags. For my diabetic wife this was perfect, eliminating her fear of middle of the night sugar crashes. It was a simple motel, I knew that. It was very good.

We loved our stay here - the staff were really friendly and helpful, the location was excellent and the rooms were clean, spacious and comfortable! We'd definitely stay here again and highly recommend if you're wanting to stay in Colorado Springs, explore Old Colorado City or even explore the wider area!

My room had the best TV of any hotel room i've ever been too which was really surprising considering this is a budget motel. Really impressed with the TV situation and everybody had already loaded their accounts on the TV so you could use their amazon prime no need to login to my own. There was 2 guys who appeared to be living in a creepy van with a cat inside which had my wife paranoid. Maybe they were staying at the motel but they were transient. They did not bother us but it is weird. The lady at the front desk did not seem to be friendly but gave us 2 gift snack bags which we gave to our kids. I have never gotten gifts like this from even fancy hotels. We appreciated it. Shower and bed was nice. Overall we were very happy with our stay.
