Best Western Plus Superior Inn

Great stay for a couple. Close walking to lake, and stores. Movies available on a TV. Local ice cream from the creamery for sale on site. Breakfast Coffee could be improved. But had two options.

Was nerves about using trip.com but it worked out well.

We stayed here for 2 nights. Each employee we interacted with was very friendly. The room itself was very clean, with a great view of Lake Superior. There was also a fireplace that turned on with the flip of a switch. The hotel was in walking distance to most things in town and the breakfast provided each morning was great. However, there were some negatives. This is a very expensive hotel, so we did expect a bit more in these areas. The room itself was on the small side, especially since it was a higher-level corner room. The shower water temperature fluctuated, requiring you to always be adjusting the temperature mid-shower. In addition, the Wi-Fi would cut in and out constantly, making streaming video very difficult.

This hotel has exceeded my expectations. The room was absolutely amazing. The staff went above and beyond. We booked a suite for the Fourth of July weekend. When my husband and I laid in bed at the end of the night to watch tv we noticed the main tv was glitching. We brought it up to the staff the next morning as we left the hotel to explore the town. Upon our arrival back to our room, the staff had replaced the entire 55” flat screen tv. And then we were asked if we needed anything else to help make our stay better. The hot tub was amazing! Clean, towels stocked and a beautiful waterfall. The hotel is close to town and an amazing view of the water. 10/10 will stay again!

If you want a wonderful North Shore experience, stay at the Best Western Plus Superior Inn! The hotel is right on the lake plus you can easily walk downtown or out to Artist Point. The breakfast isn't the usual low quality you get at most 'breakfast included' hotels - it's definitely an upgrade. The staff is wonderful and you felt you were staying at their home!

We stayed at this hotel with our kids ages 15, 13, 11 and 9. Spacious room with ability to sleep all 6 of us in a suite. The hot tub is the largest I have seen at a hotel and fit our family and had plenty of room for others. The breakfast has a great variety with eggs, sausages, cereals and some great local yogurt. The best part is the view and that each room has a view of Lake Superior and that there is a beach you can relax on behind the hotel. Staff is friendly and helpful! Definitely would book again.

I can't say enough about this hotel. It is in the perfect location with the perfect view and the perfect hosts. Very friendly staff. We can't wait to return.

Don’t believe the negative reviews on this hotel. I couldn’t have been more pleased. Stayed here for our anniversary. Views of Lake Spirit are amazing. The staff was friendly. The rooms were very clean and the bed was comfortable. But to be honest, the hot tub in the lower level was out of this world. Worth every dime I spent on the hotel. Perfect temperatures large size waterfall effect. I often review hotels before I book them based on Tripadvisor reviews. So I’m doing my part to tell you this was a hotel worth staying! No complaints!!

Perfect! I cannot say enough about our positive experience at this hotel: friendly staff, very clean, exceptional views of the lake, and close to town. Thank you to the staff at this location!
