Kempinski Hotel Soma Bay

I was pleasantly surprised to find a Chinese-speaking front desk staff member during check-in, which made communication smooth. They also provided Chinese check-in instructions, making it very friendly for Chinese tourists. The hotel thoughtfully arranged honeymoon decorations and even presented a complimentary honeymoon cake. Special thanks to the lady in the red dress for the meticulous arrangements – it added a wonderful touch of ceremony. Breakfast and dinner offered a rich variety of food options, and the desserts were delicious. The hotel also has a private beach with plenty of water activities. Additionally, there's a shuttle buggy service to the snorkeling jetty, making it very convenient for snorkeling trips.

The service is great; they prepared dinner for us when we arrived late and breakfast when we left early. The food was so plentiful, it could have lasted a week! The only downside is that the place is a bit old.

Five-star rating! The front desk even upgraded our room for free. The common areas are beautiful, and the room is large and comfortable. The food was also quite good.

This is a decent five-star hotel, I guess. It feels like it was built specifically for Westerners. The food was really bad, all Western-style meals. However, you can tell the meals were thoughtfully prepared for Western guests; it's just not to my taste. The hotel is very far out, very private, and very safe. There are two checkpoints, so outsiders can't get in. I didn't feel there was any discrimination in their service. I thought it was pretty good.

Located in Soma Bay, a bit far from the city center, this large hotel offers beautiful views. The staff are good, and the food options change slightly every day. It's a great place to just relax and unwind.

The hotel's design is great, the room bedding is comfortable and clean, and housekeeping was prompt. We also appreciated the birthday decorations. Thank you to the hotel for your service! If you're still deciding between the Kempinski or Sheraton in Soma Bay, just go with the Kempinski – you won't regret it.

Driving all the way through the desert, entering Sahl Hasheesh felt like stepping into a paradise. The greenery and the Red Sea were simply stunning. There's a free shuttle service to a nearby supermarket and another one to the pier, which is incredibly convenient.

Upon arrival, there's a security check before check-in. They offered special juices to guests waiting to check in, which was a very nice touch. The lobby staff were also patient and answered many of our questions. The hotel service is very thoughtful, and all the staff are extremely friendly. After checking in on the first day, they even conducted a satisfaction survey, asking if there were any areas for improvement. The hotel food is plentiful, with a wide selection for both breakfast and dinner. My only complaint is that the dinner food was too salty, making you practically have to order drinks. While eating, sparrows and pigeons keep you company. If you like enjoying the outdoors, you can sit outside, which is very close to the sea. The location is quite far from Hurghada city; once you leave the hotel, it's nothing but desert. Behind the hotel, there's a small commercial area with restaurants, a sports club, a bank, a supermarket, and even a home goods store, which is nice for a stroll. The hotel actually has a lot of activities, but since we were out for all four days of our trip, we didn't get to fully enjoy the hotel's amenities, which is a bit of a shame. Overall, if you have enough time, it's definitely worth recommending; it's a place where you can slow down and enjoy life. :)

Choosing the Kempinski Hotel Soma Bay was hands down the best decision I made on this trip. The first and last parts of my Egyptian journey were quite exhausting, so these two days spent relaxing by the Red Sea were a much-needed and rare treat. The hotel's architecture is a stunning North African Moorish-Arabic style, with beige domes complemented by intricate carved wooden window screens, and every door is a gorgeous Tiffany baby blue – it's absolutely beautiful. I opted for a four-day, three-night all-inclusive package, which covered six meals, with breakfast and dinner each day. We arrived in Hurghada from Cairo at 8:50 PM on the first day, and by the time we reached the Soma Bay hotel, it was nearly midnight. Seeing that we were a bit tired, a bar staff member kindly offered us a small, delicious drink each. The hotel also provided dinner, delivered straight to our room, showcasing their incredible service. There was even a welcome amenity in the room, which really boosted our spirits. With its stunning private beach views and a surprisingly good buffet, I'd honestly give this hotel 120 points – it truly captured my heart. Personally, I found the hotel's night view even more captivating than during the day; the evening lights create a different kind of romance. The Kempinski Soma Bay easily ranks among my top three five-star hotels. The fact that they have hotel guides in Chinese is a fantastic bonus. Furthermore, I want to specifically commend the staff's integrity. We left a tip, but the staff didn't take it. When the room was being cleaned, all my belongings, including my wallet, were in the room, and my luggage wasn't locked, yet nothing was missing.
