Aloft Louisville Downtown

Everyone was so helpful and friendly. The stay was so enjoyable and the food was excellent. I will be looking for Aloft hotels to stay at in my future travels.

We always stay here when we go to Louisville. Great location super great staff and great bar experience. Will be back soon.

We arrived for a volleyball tournament out of state dropped off by a Lyft after early travel. They told us check-in was three and if we wanted to check in at lunchtime when we arrived, we had to pay an additional $50 so we said no and came back at 2:00 and they said it would be an additional $25. We went back at 2:30 and ironically since we turned down giving them money they said they wouldn’t have any rooms clean until three.. I get to Disney World at 11 and check in at four and they always get me in and they are fully booked as well and I stay at Hiltons and they always get me in. The rooms were very cramped with the two beds facing the highway with no drawers in the bedroom very loud street noise ..when we went to the room we even thought there was only one bed in there. The room was so small and cramped ..in the bathroom the showerhead was so forceful that it hurt my body literally when I was taking a shower and I couldn’t even get my hair rinsed out good because of the way it was hitting so forcefully and we couldn’t even fix it!! We did not have any cleaning service the first day or anyone asking if we needed more towels, we had to hunt someone down the second day to get more towels and more toilet paper. There was no breakfast buffet like in all of the other places we have stayed and there was no Pool. Trust me. There are much better places to stay in downtown Louisville. We made a big mistake this trip!!

Very disappointed in our stay. Although the hotel itself was in good condition and well maintained, we booked our room/stay for our group of 4 back in January (possibly even earlier) and when we arrived to check in, we were told they didn’t have a room available. They had our reservation, just simply “we don’t have a room for you”. After a while, we were offered an “upgraded room”, but when I asked if it had 2 beds they said “no, just one”. Again we were a group of 4 adults. After more back and forth, we were offered a room with a pull out couch. No offered discount for the inconvenience, just a breakfast voucher that was already sold out of multiple menu items by 930am. We have stayed with Aloft previously and loved our experience so knowing that that they are okay with overselling their hotel when there are huge events going on and every hotel in the area was sold out is extremely disappointing and makes me not trust returning and this happening again.

We arrived to check in to be met with an insincere apology that they had over booked and had no room. After handling me a letter and sending me to a "comparable" room across the river, I was dismissed. The comparable room featured broken lamps, broken down double beds and torn wallpaper. The bathroom was horrible. The worst room I have ever stayed in. I will not book with Marriott again. Hilton has never treated me like that.

Staff was super friendly and accommodating. They were very helpful on attractions, food, and entertainment.

The hotel is conveniently located. It was clean, rooms were nicely sized and the bed was comfortable. But the beat part was the amazing shower pressure!

Everyone was very nice and helpful!! Overall a great experience, we will definitely be back!!
