The room was very clean, and the location was excellent, making it easy to get around. The hotel also offers luggage storage, which was very convenient. The bed was soft and comfortable, and I had a good night’s sleep. The only downside was that the room was a bit smaller than I expected. Overall, I had a pleasant stay and would recommend this hotel.

This was our first trip to Shanghai, and we had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The staff could communicate in English and were incredibly kind and helpful throughout our stay. We had trouble paying at the water vending machine, and a staff member patiently helped us. We also arrived early in the morning before the official check-in time. We had booked two rooms for four people, and since one room was already available, they kindly let us check in early, which we really appreciated. We accidentally left some belongings behind after checking out, and the staff even called us to let us know. We are very grateful to all the staff for their kindness and excellent service. The hotel itself has great facilities, is very close to the metro station, and is within walking distance of Nanjing Road, making it very convenient for sightseeing.

We had a great stay overall. The hotel is spacious, comfortable, and well-equipped. It comes with a 2-in-1 washing machine (but NO detergent) and dryer, a hairdryer, and an electric stove for simple cooking. The staff also allow luggage storage, which was very convenient. One of the best things about this hotel is its location. It’s just a short walk to Nanjing Road, making it very convenient for shopping, sightseeing, and exploring Shanghai. Another big advantage is that there’s a halal restaurant just one shop lot away from the hotel. There’s also a café on the ground floor where you can grab some bread or coffee before heading out for the day. Another feature we really appreciated was the Japanese-style smart toilet with a built-in bidet. It made cleaning up after using the toilet much more convenient and hygienic. This was honestly one of our favourite features of the room. The hotel provides body wash, shampoo, and conditioner, but they’re only small bottles (around 50ml each), so it’s a good idea to bring your own if you’re staying for several days. A few downsides: the hotel does not provide an iron. We asked the receptionist, and they confirmed that irons are not available. Also, don’t expect a nice room view—our window overlooked the back of nearby buildings and some trash bins. As for halal food, unlike Yunnan where halal (Qing Zhen) signs are everywhere, it’s a little more challenging to find in Shanghai. Besides the restaurant next to the hotel, other halal restaurants are about a 15-minute walk away. A helpful tip is to look for restaurants run by Muslim owners—you’ll often see the men wearing traditional Muslim caps and the women wearing hijabs, even if there’s no obvious halal sign outside. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend this hotel. It’s clean, spacious, has plenty of useful facilities, and the location is excellent—especially if you want to stay close to Nanjing Road while still having easy access to halal food.

Had an excellent stay with my parents on a family trip. The hotel is conveniently located within walking distance from Nanjing Road Pedestrian Street and East Nanjing Road Metro Station, and less than an hours travel from both Pudong and Hongqiao Airport via the metro - you can even see the Oriental Pearl Tower right from the hotel. Convenience stores like Family Mart and Lawson are available nearby, with numerous eateries also located along the street. Amenities were aplenty, with basic toiletries provided - however, you will need to bring your own detergent for the washing machine provided within the room. The toilet comes with a remote controlled seat warmer and bidet, which was an added bonus. There is also a rack available for your online orders, however I would recommend you indicate your room number within the address to easily locate your parcel once they have arrived. The hotel is well furnished and very new, the bed was comfy and the pillows plushed. Had a good rest after each day of sightseeing in Shanghai. Would definitely look at the hotel again when I am back in Shanghai and recommend it to anyone who is visiting.

Good service, nice location,clean restroom and easy to find hotel

The moment I checked in, I could already tell that the floor was not clean, it was covered with dust and hair. I even wiped it with tissue to confirm, and it turned out to be extremely dirty (as shown in the attached photo). A few hours after checking in, I informed the receptionist about the issue. They acknowledged it, but no action was taken. The next morning, I personally requested for the floor to be cleaned and mopped. Although they appeared to acknowledge my request, the floor was still dirty when I returned to the room. I eventually had to clean it myself. I also requested for the bedsheets to be changed, but this was ignored as well. The hotel management should seriously review the performance of their housekeeping team, as the cleanliness standards are very poor and unacceptable. That said, I do appreciate the kindness of the receptionists who allowed my sisters and I to check in early after noticing us resting on the couch in front of the counter. That gesture was genuinely thoughtful and humane. In terms of location, the hotel is conveniently situated near Nanjing East Road Metro Station, particularly Exit 4. For those with luggage, Exit 2 is a better option as it has lift and escalator access, although it is slightly further. Overall, the location and front desk service are commendable, but the cleanliness is a major concern. It is such a waste, especially for a relatively new establishment. Cleanliness should never be compromised.
