First Camp Siljansbadet - Rättvik

I wanted a break from the city and to explore Sweden’s nature and this place was perfect. For some reason the most affordable option was a 4 person bunk room so I had a lot of beds to myself. The location on the lake is idyllic and you can easily walk through the train station into town for cafes/stores etc Plus rent a bike for a day and go for a cycle around the lake to really get some gorgeous views and fresh air. I didn’t get the text to check in which would have been a pain out of hours but the lovely staff member on her way home was super useful and helped me get sorted. Sitting by the lake for sunset is serene and getting up early to catch the sky turn pink before sunrise from the longest inland peer only a few minutes walk from my cabin was 100% worth the early wake up call.

Campsite is good, however the noise in Rattvik at night is ridiculous. Youngsters pumping up their car sound systems at 1 am.

The checkin was easy, the place was really well managed, clean and well kept. The bathrooms and kitchen were in good shape and cleaned every day. Also the cabin had a nice view from the lake and there were enough places to walk, grill, children's playground, etc.. And it was a 2minute walk from the train station

We stayed at the end of season right before the weekend for 1 night. The stuga was fine, everything was there and it was clean. There were however a lot of people coming for a specific concert. They were nice, but loud at night and drunk. Due to Dalhalla being so close, we can imagine this being a regular occurance and therefore I would not recommend it to those wanting to visit Rättvik for other reasons. It was not a good nights sleep. Servicebuilding was fine, but the showers were in need of renovation and it was very dirty in the morning.

It was a very nice stay, with clean restrooms. The campsite's location is perfect. We were satisfied and would come again.

The weather on our trip was not great but this site has a great location next to the lake yet close to the towns facilities and transport. One service block was excellent another bad and litter on the site needs picking up.

Nice It was very nice experience. felt one night stay is not enough to enjoy the place.
