Maison Argenson

This was the best place we stayed in during our holiday in France. The house is lovely, quiet and luxurious, situated within a few minutes walk of the centre of Bergerac. It also has a relaxing pool and garden area making it an ideal place to stay. The breakfasts, served on the terrace overlooking the garden, were generous and delicious, slightly different each day. Estelle and Pascal are perfect hosts and made us feel very welcome. We would definitely recommend.

We have just returned from a 4 night break in one of the best places ever to stay in. This is far more than a B&B, Firstly the place is extremely luxurious, the hosts Estelle & Pascal go above & beyond in order to look after you , the garden area & pool are a delight to relax in and the breakfasts are delicious, each morning a little different ( Estelle even baked a cake especially for our dietary requirements ! ) all eaten on the most beautiful patio. What an amazing place to stay. Although this is billed as a B&B, its is far beyond this. The House is beautiful, lots of original features. our suite was very generous, a large bedroom and large sitting room. The pool area is also very gorgeous and spacious. Now to our hosts - what can i say. Pascal and Estelle go above and beyond to make your stay special. From breakfast on a beautiful terrace over looking the garden to recommending and booking restaurants, on hand for any help, drinks by the pool and just generally FANTASTIC hosts. My partner have travelled extensively and stayed in some very smart places and we both agreed this is a very special place. We will definitely return.

This boutique B&B is outstanding. The house, bedrooms and ground are beautiful and the owners Estelle and Pascal work hard, and frankly go out of their way, to make your stay a pleasure! We enjoyed breakfasts on the terrace (slightly different every day), relaxing by the refreshing pool whilst we sipped a cold beer. Estelle and Pascal helped us arrange taxis, bikes and restaurants for dinner. We wanted a relaxing stay and base in the French countryside and this place delivered that perfectly!

A great place to stay in central Bergerac. Quiet and peaceful with a terrific pool. Pascal and Estelle are wonderful hosts. Very sumptuous breakfast with personal service. Daily room servicing. Highly recommended.

This is an exception hotel, full of history, style and elegance. Estelle and Pascale are superb hosts with every attention to detail. It’s a jewel in the heart of beautiful Bergerac. Breakfast was excellent and slightly different each morning. We will definitely book again.

Le Clos d'Argenson is an idyllic paradise, quiet, luxurious yet very central. The perfect place to rest and unwind - especially in the beautiful garden alongside the swimming pool. The breakfast is amazing, home-made jam, selection of cheeses, pastries, cake, fresh fruit and even home-made yoghurt. The owners are charming and helpful but low-key. The location is ideal, within a few minutes walk of the historic centre of Bergerac, although if you want a restaurant the Cafe du Canal, a few doors away, is wonderful, very friendly and great food.
