Somerset Rama 9 Bangkok

This was my first time staying at the Somerset Hotel in Phra Ram 9. It's just a 5-minute walk to Central Rama 9, which wasn't far even with a stroller and a baby. The Phra Ram 9 MRT station is only about 2 minutes further. The hotel offers a shuttle service to these two stops every hour on the hour, but honestly, the distance is so short that walking is more convenient for scheduling. Since we were traveling with a baby under two, we pushed the bed against the wall. The floor under the bed was surprisingly clean and dust-free. The hotel's pool has a 50cm shallow end, which is perfect for little ones. It's great for swimming at any time except between 3:00 PM and 5:00 PM when it gets quite sunny. The hotel breakfast was decent, nothing spectacular, but it did have suitable options for our baby, which was very convenient.

The room comes with a washing machine and dryer, which is a big plus! We stayed in an executive suite, and it was very spacious with two air conditioners. There's a wall separating them, so you don't get a direct draft.

The staff here are genuinely nice. The moment we opened the car door, a staff member in the lobby saw us from a distance and immediately ran over to help us with our luggage. And, you don't need to tip for the towel animals; you just write what you want on a piece of paper and they'll make it for you. I absolutely love this hotel! The room is spacious, and the bathroom has a great wet/dry separation. I'll definitely be staying here every time I visit Thailand!

Located in the business district, this hotel is perfect for business trips. It's right next to Central Rama 9, just a short walk away. Plus, it's easy to find food around here! 👍🏻

Extremely satisfied! The hotel lobby is spacious and the staff are very friendly. We booked a 6-person room, and the overall facilities were clean and hygienic. It felt very comfortable returning to the hotel in the evening. Plus, the hotel had a special towel-folding activity, and we even received a gift after posting about it – we were very happy!

Location-wise, it's super convenient: close to the subway, a mall, and a Lotus supermarket, making shopping a breeze. The hotel also boasts a fully equipped infinity pool, gym, and massage room. Plus, there's a common lounge and a kids' play area.
