It’s rare for me to leave a review, but The Deck truly deserves one. There are hotels that are expensive and beautiful, and then there are places that have soul. For us, The Deck was exactly that. A special thank you to Alex for his genuine care and attention. Every question or request was handled immediately, making our stay even more enjoyable. The greatest thing about this hotel is its atmosphere. It’s peaceful, intimate, and never feels crowded or busy. The hotel is located right in Fisherman’s Village, but at the very end of the street. This turned out to be the perfect location. Within just a couple of minutes, you can walk to all the restaurants, bars, shops, and nightlife, then return to complete peace and quiet. The beach is only a two-minute walk away. We stayed in Villa No. 6, and it was the perfect choice. The villa has a spacious, cozy terrace where we loved having our morning coffee or simply relaxing in the evening. The room itself deserves a special mention. Many hotels try to create a stylish interior, but here everything feels natural and authentic. Natural wood, woven baskets, linen fabrics, wooden bedside tables, beautiful lamps, bamboo details, ceramics—so many thoughtful little touches that may seem insignificant on their own, but together they create an incredibly warm and welcoming atmosphere. This is one of those rare hotels where every single corner looks like it belongs on Pinterest or Instagram. The breakfasts were my favorite! 🥰 I love European-style breakfasts, so I was absolutely delighted. Instead of a huge, noisy buffet, everything is freshly prepared after you order. The food is always fresh and served just a few minutes later. The grounds are small but beautifully maintained. The pool is spotless, the sun loungers are comfortable, and the lush greenery makes the whole place feel like a little oasis. The Deck isn’t about luxury for the sake of luxury. It’s about taste, aesthetics, attention to detail, and an atmosphere that you fall in love with from the very first day. We left feeling like we were saying goodbye to a place where we had truly been happy. This is definitely somewhere we’ll return to. ❤️

The location is incredible, just a few metres from the beach, in the most beautiful little village and it’s at the quiet end with only a short walk to the busier end, so you can enjoy peace and party all in one stay effortlessly. The decor is divine, so well designed with so much thought given to the tiny details, completely clean and a lot of love going into maintaining it to its high standards My room was like heaven and the staff are so friendly and helpful. The food and cocktails were delicious too. Moh moh and Mala were so attentive, friendly and welcoming; always smiling and laughing and interested in their customers. They clearly love their jobs. The team feels like a family. I had 2 friends meet me there and they both said they’ll be staying at Deck Cottages on their next visit. I am so glad the hotel I originally tried to book was full! What an experience! We have got to give this a 5*+ rating for this beautiful boutique hotel. The rooms, facilities, restaurant are all just magical and the staff that work at this amazing place are just so kind, thoughtful and adorable yet again they are all 5*+. If you’re looking for a delightful hotel in Bophut, Koh Samui this is the place to be….

We stayed for a few nights recently and our first impression was excellent, we had some travel issues and were shown exceptional flexibility - thank you. The cottages are beautiful, quiet and comfortable rooms to stay in - walking distance from the activities food and drink of fisherman’s village. The pool area was beautiful, always plenty of beds for all residents and the water temperature of the pool was good! Breakfast was very well presented and plentiful and we had lunch one day also which was good quality. All the staff of the bar and restaurant and around the pool were very hospitable and friendly and so attentive (the exception to the rule we have found on the island so far sadly!) and a credit to the management. Merci!

This is was a real gem of a hotel! Family holiday with a 16 year old and 12, staying a total of 8 nights over Christmas. We had a 2 bedroom villa with a small private pool. This is a small independent hotel with a dedicated team making sure that guests have an amazing stay. Lovely chilled vibe with some of the best food we had in Koh Samui. French owned with an eclectic mix of dishes. Both the Thai and non Thai food were equally good. À la carte breakfast was the best we’ve had at any hotel. The rooms were clean, tidy with extremely comfortable beds and good quality bedding. Storage could be better and there were a few snagging issues- loose tap in one of the bathrooms ( the hotel had just completed its first year of operation), but overall we had a wonderful experience. Although less than 5 minutes walk to the busier part of fisherman’s village, there were no issues with noise- in fact quite the opposite- a true oasis! We found the location excellent to get to other places on the island- if you get a chance definitely try the Tree bridge zip line, Ang Thong national marine park and Coco Tam- 10 minutes walk from the hotel, they have a fire show on the beach twice a night and the food is also good. We used the Grab App for most of our transport around the island. We spoke to the owners a couple of times, they were hands on and took the time to greet and talk to guests as well as listen to feedback. A special thank you to Alex and Julien- true professionals! This is definitely top of our list of places to stay when we are next in Thailand!

We booked in her for a couple of nights after staying at another place which we had booked for 4 nts but could only stay for 2 as it was so bad. We are so glad we did. It’s a beautiful place to stay. The staff are so nice & helpful. The rooms are beautiful. I would highly recommend Deck Cottages

We finished our 3 week honeymoon in Samui with 3 nights in The Deck Cottages, in their 2 bedroom villa with private pool. The location, staff, cleanliness and quality of the accommodation were fantastic, we loved staying there and would return in a heartbeat - it just has so much character! The breakfast included with the room were also superb, huge portions and delicious! We will return soon for sure.

Fantastic day spent here. We stayed in a local hotel and had access to here, pool fabulous and we had lunch and drinks, which were so good. Staff so attentive. Really lovely day and cottages look amazing
