The Common Man Inn & Spa

The hotel was awesome and accommodations were also. We stayed in a pet friendly room that was immaculate!! Coulda used a door mat on the entry, snow and sand tracking we didn’t want to make a mess Food and drinks were excellent in the boiler room restaurant Maybe a pet friendly pad for the couch that can be washed between guests would be a good idea for the couch And the breakfast man Tom was awesome food excellent and great conversation!! See ya next year!

It's always a pleasure to stay here. While travelling can become blah, I always look forward to my stays at the Common Man. From the facility to the breakfast, it's a first-class experience

I have mixed feelings about my stay here. The staff were great! The service was good. I stayed in one of the off-site cabins for 2 nights/3 days. The positives: The cabin is very cute! It was very clean and had all the amenities you could possibly need. Including the cutest little microwave! Parking was great! Right beside the cabin so I literally only had to walk about 3 feet to the cabin door with my luggage. Now for the negatives: This was a negative for me at least. I spent 2 rough nights with little sleep because the bed was way too soft for me. I am used to a semi-firm mattress. The other negative was the bathroom. The shower, in my opinion, is poorly designed. It is literally a drain in a laminate floor with a shower curtain around it. There is a plastic bath mat to prevent slipping that has small holes in it. I tried it. Not a good idea! As soon as I turned the shower on, the water started flooding the bathroom! The floor is angled so water is directed towards the drain, but it didn't seem to matter. I had to remove the plastic mat. After my shower, I used my towels to sop up all the water. I also was aware there was a sulfur type smell from the water. Which may be why the inn provides bottles of spring water for drinking? The last issue is the toilet paper holder. It is literally on the left wall back behind the toilet. It was very hard to access it without contorting my body. :OP There is plenty of space on the wall right next to the toilet for easy access.

We went to the common man Inn & spa and they said we weren’t booked there but had to drive down the street to the lodge . Very inconveint.

I love this place! Second time I have stayed there this winter. I wanted to change my room and the person who I spoke to was very accommodating. We had a great dinner and the morning breakfast was excellent. Also, the shower pressure was perfect! I'll definitely be be back.

Comfortable and clean room, quiet, close to highway and short drive into downtown Plymouth NH

The room was in The Lodge which is not accessible to amenities in the main facility where there is a restaurant, bar, pool, hot tub, etc. it is .4 miles away and not walkable. Very disappointing. We were not able t spend time with family members due to the distance.

Staff were all very friendly and helpful. Room was clean and well appointed, fitting with the theme of the property. Hot tub was luxuriously hot and jets were strong!

We didn't love that our room ended up being across the road. They should atleast offer transportation back & fourth as a complimentary service. Everything else was good & we love the Common Man so we would definitely go back but we will make sure our room is at the main building.
