Hotel Fox Arthall

Booked this hotel for a friend. They flew from Shanghai to Daegu, spent a day exploring, and then took a KTX train for 40 minutes to Busan. They visited the hard-won church and enjoyed countless delicious meals. The hotel service was great, and the transportation was convenient. Highly recommend.

I stayed for a couple of nights to watch a baseball game.🚆 It was close to Banwoldang Station, which made it convenient for getting to the stadium (it's near Exit 10), and being in a commercial area made it very easy to go out for lunch. The hotel was clean, and the bed was comfortable. I didn't even have to ask, but they thoughtfully provided fresh towels and water for the next day. 👍 For breakfast, there was a good variety including rice, cereal, bread, and salad, so I could pick what I wanted and have a satisfying meal. I highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Daegu!

The location is excellent, and the hotel is new. It's right in the bustling city center, with plenty of options for food, drinks, and shopping nearby. Most of the main attractions are within walking distance. The only downside is that check-in isn't until 5 PM, which feels a bit late.

The rooms were impeccably clean. They were spacious, and the semi-double beds were very comfortable. Although the toilet and shower were combined, the vanity area was large and convenient to use, and the water pressure in the shower was excellent. We had breakfast included and ate there both mornings; the food was surprisingly delicious. We were perfectly happy with the hotel's meals and didn't need to eat out. This was my first time in Daegu, and thanks to this hotel, it was a comfortable and enjoyable trip. On our departure day, due to our KTX reservation, we asked the front desk to call us a taxi, which was incredibly helpful. The staff spoke excellent Japanese and were very polite, leaving a great impression. We arrived at the station on time, and the fare was exactly as stated. Overall, it was a wonderful hotel. The fox paintings, in keeping with HOTEL FOX ARTHALL, were also very cute! Next time I come to Daegu, I definitely want to stay here again and would confidently recommend it to my friends! As a side note, the hotel is about a 3-minute walk from Exit 10 of Banwoldang Station (반월동 역) after passing through the underground shopping arcade. However, Exit 10 requires climbing about five steps before you reach an escalator (which is also narrow). So, if you have a large suitcase, be prepared to tackle the stairs, and once you get on the escalator, the hotel is right there.

The hotel is conveniently located across from a shopping area, right opposite ABC Mart, and there are three Oliveyoung stores nearby. The one directly across from the hotel is particularly good, with friendly staff and fewer crowds. Gyusong Ribs is also very close by. The front desk staff were welcoming and helpful. The breakfast spread was quite generous, though we might not be used to it as it consisted mostly of various kinds of kimchi. Cooking your own fried egg was a fun touch. The room's soundproofing was only average; on our second night, we could clearly hear a child screaming next door. However, the room itself was very clean. Overall, it was a good stay.

This is my second visit, and the staff are always friendly, and the rooms are clean! The location is also excellent. I'll definitely stay here every time I come to Daegu!!

The room was quite spacious, and the TV was large. It's also very close to the pedestrian street. For breakfast, they offered instant noodles and toast, and there's a snack and drink bar. The hotel staff were very friendly, always greeting guests, and they were able to promptly handle hygiene issues and provide luggage storage service.
